Abstract
Latar belakang Peneliti melakukan penelitian ini berdasarkan hasil wawancara dan dokumentasi terhadap guru Biologi kelas VIII SMPN 8 Palangka Raya, menyatakan bahwa keaktifan peserta didik sangat bervariasi, ada yang aktif dan ada pula yang kurang aktif bahkan tidak aktif. Menurut guru yang bersangkutan, hasil belajar peserta didik masih sangat rendah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran CIRC berbantuan media audio visual terhadap keaktifan dan hasil belajar peserta didik dalam proses belajar dan keterterapan model pembelajaran CIRC berbantuan media audiovisual terhadap keaktifan dan hasil belajar di kelas VIII SMPN 8 Palangka Raya.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain Nonequivalent Control Group design. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 65 peserta didik. Teknik pengambilan data pada penelitian ini adalah tes (pretest dan post test) dan non test ( angket, wawancara dan dokumentasi). Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar angket keaktifan belajar, lembar soal tes dan lembar observasi keterterapan model pembelajaran. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis instrumen, perhitungan N-Gain dan uji hipotesis dengan uji T.
Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan data, diperoleh bahwa adanya pengaruh model pembelajaran CIRC berbantuan media audio visual terhadap kekaktifan dan hasil belajar peserta didik. Pada bagian keterterapan, keaktifan dan hasil belajar peserta didik sebelum diberikan perlakuan sangat kurang, setelah diberikan perlakuan mengalami kemajuan yang sangat baik. Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa peneliti telah menerapkan model pembelajaran CIRC berbantuan media audio visual terhadap keaktifan dan hasil belajar peserta didik di kelas VIII.7 SMPN 8 Palangka Raya dengan sangat baik.
Abstract
The baground of the researchers conducting this research was based on the results of interviews and dokumentation of the VIII grade biology teacher at SMPN 8 Palangka Raya, Stating that the activeness of students varies widely, some are active and some are less active or even inactive. According to the teacher concerned, student learning outcomes are still very low. The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is an effect of using the media-assisted CIRC learning model audiovisual on the activeness and learning outcomes of students in the learning process and how the model is applied CIRC learning assited by audiovisual media on activeness and learning outcomes in class VIII SMPN 8 Palangka Raya.
This research uses quantitative methods with design Nonequivalent Control Group design. The sample of this study was 65 students. The data collection technique in this study was a test (pretest and post test) and non test (interview, questionnaire and documentation). The researcg instrument used was a learning activeness questionnaire sheet, test question sheets and learning model applied abservation sheets. The data analysis technique used is instrument analysis, calculation of N-Gain and hypothesis testing with the T test.
Based on the results of data calculations, it is found that there is an influence of the CIRC learning model assisted by audio visual media on the activeness and learning outcomes of students. In the application section, the activeness and the learning outcomes of students before being given treatment is very lacking, after being given the treatment the progress was very good. Likewise for learning outcomes, the leaning outcomes of students have progressed. So, it can be concluded that the researcher has implemented a learning model assisted by audio visual media to the activeness and learning outcomes of students in class VIII.7 at SMPN 8 Palangka Raya very well.
