Abstract
Penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan hasil observasi awal dan wawancara disimpulkan peserta didik cenderung pasif dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran fisika di kelas. Proses pembelajaran yang masih bertitik berat pada guru, pemahaman pada konsep fisika yang masih kurang dan peserta didik cenderung berpikir praktis. Dilihat dari hasil pembelajaran nilai rata-rata keterampilan proses sains tergolong masih rendah sebesar 59.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) terdapat atau tidaknya peningkatan keterampilan proses sains peserta didik dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran guided inquiry (2) terdapat atau tidaknya peningkatan habits of mind peserta didik dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran guided inquiry (3) terdapat atau tidaknya hubungan antara keterampilan proses sains terhadap habits of mind peserta didik.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian pra-eksperimen. Desain penelitian menggunakan one-group pretest-posttest design dengan pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, sampel yang dipilih yaitu kelas X T Geomatika. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMKN 1 Palangka Raya pada bulan September 2020. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes keterampilan proses sains dan angket habits of mind peserta didik.
Hasil penelitian diperoleh: (1) terdapat peningkatan keterampilan proses sains peserta didik menggunakan model pembelajaran guided inquiry pada pokok bahasan usaha dan energi dengan nilai rata-rata N-gain sebesar 0,51 yaitu kategori sedang. (2) terdapat peningkatan habits of mind peserta didik menggunakan model pembelajaran guided inquiry pada pokok bahasan usaha dan energi dengan nilai rata-rata N-gain sebesar 0,27 yaitu kategori rendah. (3); tidak terdapat hubungan antara keterampilan proses sains dan habits of mind peserta didik dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran guided inquiry.
Abstract
This research conducted based on the results of preliminary observations and interviews concluded that students tend to passive in following physics learning process in the classroom. The learning process which still focuses on the teacher, the understanding of physics concepts is still lacking and students tend to think practically. Judging from the learn outcomes, the average value of science process skills is still low at 59.
The results obtained: (1) there is an increase in the science process skills of students using the learning model guided inquiry on the subject of effort and energy with an average N-gain value of 0.51, which is medium category. (2) there is an increase in the habits of mind of students using the learning model guided inquiry on the subject of effort and energy with an average N-gain value of 0.27, which is low category. (3); There is no relationship between science process skills and the habits of mind of students using the learning model guided inquiry.
This research uses a quantitative approach with the type of pre-experimental research. The research design used a one-group pretest-posttest design with sampling using purposive sampling technique, the sample chosen was class XT Geomatics. This research conduct in SMK 1 Palangka Raya in September 2020. The instruments used were a science process skill test and questionnaire habits of mind of students.
This study aims to decide (1) whether there is an increase in science process skills of students using the learning model guided inquiry (2) whether there is an increase in habits of mind students using the learning model guided inquiry (3) whether there is a relationship between science process skills and the habits of mind of students.
