Abstract
RA. Hidayaturrahman Palangka Raya salah satu RA di kota Palangka Raya yang mulai beroperasional tahun 2013, dengan lokasi terbilang jauh dari suasana keramaian kota, tetapi peserta didiknya menunjukkan perkembangan potensi yang bagus ketika dilakukan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler. RA. Hidayaturrahman memiliki banyak penghargaan hasil kompetensi kegiatan ekstrakurikuler sehingga peneliti tertarik untuk menelaah lebih dalam mengenai bagaimana manajemen kegiatan ekstrakukikuler, terutama dalam mengembangkan potensi peserta didik dengan rumusan masalah : 1) Bagaimana perencanaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler dalam pengembangan potensi peserta didik RA. Hidayaturrahman Palangka Raya. 2)Bagaimana pengorganisasian kegiatan ekstrakurikuler dalam pengembangan potensi peserta didik? 3) Bagaimana pelaksanaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler dalam pengembangan potensi peserta didik? 4)Bagaimana evaluasi kegiatan ekstrakurikuler dalam pengembangan Potensi Peserta Didik.
Tujuan penelitian; mendeskripsikan perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi kegiatan ekstrakurikuler dalam pengembangan potensi peserta didik RA. Hidayaturrahman Palangka Raya.
Pendekatan penelitian; deskriftif kualitatif melalui metode analisis situasi dengan konsep realistik. Peneliti menyajikan data sesuai kondisi real di lapangan. Teknik pengumpulan data; observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Subyek penelitian; kepala sekolah, koordinator guru pembina kegiatan ekstrakurikuler. Analisa data melalui : Reduksi data, penyajian data, kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Pemeriksaan keabsahan data; menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber, triangulasi metode, triangulasi penyidik, triangulasi teori.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa : Manajemen kegiatan ekstrakurikuler dalam pengembangan potensi peserta didik RA. Hidayaturrahman Palangka Raya sudah melaksanakan fungsi manajemen kegiatan ekstrakurikuler yang mengacu pada perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. (1) perencanaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler diawali dengan langkah-langkah: a. rapat awal perencanaan koordinasi kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, b. mengatur penjadwalan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, c. mengakomodir fasilitas dan pembiayaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler. (2) pengorganisasian kegiatan ekstrakurikuler di RA. Hidayaturrahman; a. penentuan Job description guru pembina yang bertugas sudah sesuai dengan bidang dan keahlian, tetapi tidak tertulis dalam bentuk SK. b. pendelegasian fungsi dan tanggung jawab pelaksana kegiatan ekstrakurikuler. (3) Pelaksanaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler di RA. Hidayaturrahman dilakukan dengan : a. Terlaksana sesuai dengan perencanaan dan Jadwal. b. Fungsi pelaksanaan dalam hal mengarahkan (directing), memberikan perintah (commanding),memberikan petunjuk (leading) dan mengkoordinasikan (coordinating) terlaksana dengan baik. c. Standar Operasional Prosedur (SOP) Pelaksanaan belum dibuat secara tertulis dan baku. d. pemberian arahan dan motivasi dari kepala sekolah telah dilakukan. e. Dampak dari hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuker : terciptanya pembelajaran yang kondusif dan menyenangkan, berkembangnya potensi anak, meningkatkan kemandirian, kerjasama dan disiplin, percaya diri, mengasah bakat awal yang muncul secara alami, memunculkan prestasi yang membanggakan bagi sekolah, guru dan orang tua peserta didik. (4) Evaluasi kegiatan dilakukan sebagai a. Fungsi feedback. b. Tolak ukur tingkat efektivitas atau tingkat keberhasilan program, c. Bahan pertimbangan pengambilan keputusan saat penyusunan kembali perencanaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler berikutnya, d. Hasil evaluasi capaian peserta didik dilaporkan secara deskriptif dalam bentuk laporan penilaian perkembangan peserta didik.
ABSTRACT
RA. Hidayaturrahman Palangka Raya, one of the RA in the city of Palangka Raya, began operations in 2013, with the location spelled far from the atmosphere of the city crowd, but its students showed good potential development when carried out extracurricular activities. RA. Hidayaturrahman has many awards on the results of the extracurricular activities competency so researchers are interested in studying more about how the management of extracurricular activities, especially in developing the potential of students with the formulation of the problem: 1) How to plan extracurricular activities in developing RA student potential. Hidayaturrahman Palangka Raya. 2) How to organize extracurricular activities in developing potential students? 3) How do extracurricular activities take place in developing the potential of students? 4) How to evaluate extracurricular activities in developing Student Potential.
Research purposes; describe planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating extracurricular activities in developing potential RA students. Hidayaturrahman Palangka Raya.
Research approach; descriptive qualitative through the method of analyzing situations with realistic concepts. The researcher presents data according to real conditions in the field. Data collection technique; observation, interview and documentation. Research subjects; the principal, the teacher coordinator who guides extracurricular activities. Data analysis through: Data reduction, data presentation, conclusions and verification. Check the validity of data; using source triangulation techniques, triangulation methods, investigator triangulation, theory triangulation.
The results of this study indicate that: Management of extracurricular activities in developing the potential of RA students. Hidayaturrahman Palangka Raya has implemented the management function of extracurricular activities which refers to planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating. (1) planning extracurricular activities begins with steps: a. preliminary meeting on planning coordination of extracurricular activities, then b. arrange the scheduling of extracurricular activities, c. accommodate facilities and financing for extracurricular activities. (2) organizing extracurricular activities in RA. Hidayaturrahman; a. Determination of Job description of the supervisor teacher in charge is in accordance with the field and expertise, but not written in the form of SK. b. delegation of functions and responsibilities for implementing extracurricular activities. (3) Implementation of extracurricular activities in RA. Hidayaturrahman is done by: a. Implemented according to planning and schedule. b. Implementation functions in terms of directing, commanding, leading and coordinating are carried out properly. c. Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Implementation has not been made in writing and standard. d. giving direction and motivation from the principal has been done. e. The impact of the results of the implementation of extracurricular activities: the creation of conducive and enjoyable learning, the development of children's potential, increasing independence, cooperation and discipline, self-confidence, honing early talents that arise naturally, giving rise to proud achievements for schools, teachers and parents of students. (4) Evaluation of activities is carried out as a. Feedback function. b. Measure the effectiveness or success rate of the program, c. Material for decision making when re-planning the next extracurricular activities, d. The results of student achievement evaluation are reported descriptively in the form of student development evaluation reports.
