Abstract

Penilaian hasil belajar peserta didik sebelumnya diketahui bahwa pada mata pelajaran biologimateri struktur dan fungsi jaringan tumbuhanbelum mencapai nilai KKM yang ditetapkan yaitu 65.Hal itu disebabkan oleh rendahnya tingkat pemahaman siswa terhadap materi pelajaran.Selain itu, metode pembelajaran yang diterapkan kurang variatif, sehingga peserta diidk kurang memperhatikan penjelasan guru dan peserta didik kurang terlibat aktif dalam proses belajar mengajar. Oleh karena itu, dilakukan upaya untuk menerapkan model pembelajaran two stay two stray (TSTS) dengan berbantu media gambar terhadap hasil belajar pada materi struktur dan fungsi jaringan tumbuhan kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Lahei Barito Utara.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1)mengetahui pengelolaan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) berbantu media gambar; (2) mengetahui hasil belajar peserta didik aspek kognitif setelah menggunakan model Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) berbantu media gambar; dan (3) untuk mengetahui hasil belajar peserta didik aspek afektif setelah menggunakan model Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) berbantu media gambar materi struktur dan fungsi jaringan tumbuhan pada peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Lahei.

Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif.Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes hasil belajar kognitif siswa dan lembar observasi afektif siswa.Sampel penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Lahei yang berjumlah 23 orang.Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah pada hasil belajar afektif menggunakan analisis persentase dan analisis hasil belajar kognitif menggunakan uji normal gain (N-gain).

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa;(1)pengelolaan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran TSTS berbantu media gambar secara keseluruhan mempunyai nilai rata-rata sebesar 3,06 dengan kategori baik; (2) model pembelajaran TSTS dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif siswa dengan nilai rata-rata pretest sebesar 46,58 dan rata-rata postest sebesar 74,00 serta nilai rata-rata N-gain sebesar 0,52 dengan kategori sedang; dan (3) persentase hasil belajar afektif siswa setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran TSTS kriteria yang paling dominan pada kriteria formalisasi sebesar 95%. Pada kriteria diskusi kelompok sebesar 90%, kriteria kesiapan kelompok sebesar 80%, kriteria mendengarkan sajian presentasi sebesar 75%, kriteria bekerjasama dalam kelompok sebesar 70% dan kriteria menulis jawaban di LKPD sebesar 65%.

ABSTRACT

Assessment of previous standards is known that the results of student learning on the subject of biology has not reached the value of KKM, especially on the material structure and function of plant tissue. This is caused by the low level of students' understanding of the subject matter. In addition, the learning method applied is less varied, so the participants diidk less attention to the explanation of teachers and learners less actively involved in the learning process. Therefore, efforts are made to apply the two stay two stray learning model (TSTS) with the help of the media images on the learning outcomes on the material structure and function of plant tissue class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Lahei north barito. This research aims to: (1) know the management of learning by using Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) model assisted by image media;(2) knowing the learning outcomes of learners cognitive aspects after using the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) model assisted media images;and (3) to know the learning outcomes of learners affective aspects after using the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) model aided media image material structure and function of plant tissue in the class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Lahei.

This type of research is descriptive quantitative research. The instrument used is a test of students' cognitive learning outcomes and affective student observation. The sample of research is all students of class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Lahei which amounted to 23 people. Data analysis technique used is on affective learning result using percentage analysis and cognitive learning result analysis using normal gain test (N-gain).

The results showed that;(1) management of learning by using TSTS model of learning assisted image media as a whole has an average value of 3.06 with good category;(2) TSTS learning model can improve students' cognitive learning outcomes with a pretest average value of 46.58 and a posttest average of 74.00 and an average N-gain of 0.52 in the medium category; and (3) the percentage of students' affective learning outcomes after using the TSTS learning model is the most dominant criterion on formalization criteria of 95%. In group discussion criteria 90%, group preparedness criteria of 80%, presentation list presentation criteria of 75%, criteria of 70% collaboration in group and criteria of writing answers in LKPD at 65%.
