Abstract

Penelitian ini bertolak dari observasi awal di SMPN 11 Palangka Raya, pada saat proses belajar mengajar masih banyak siswa cenderung kurang aktif dan tidak memperhatikan penjelasan materi PAI dari guru saat pembelajaran, serta siswa terlihat kurang termotivasi untuk belajar. Hal ini menyebabkan pada rendahnya hasil belajar siswa. Aktivitas belajar dan motivasi siswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran berhubungan erat dengan hasil belajar siswa. Diketahui semakin tinggi aktivitas belajar dan motivasi belajar, maka semakin tinggi pula hasil belajar yang diperoleh siswa.

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk 1) Mengetahui dan menganalisis level aktivitas belajar siswa kelas VII SMPN 11 Palangka Raya. 2) Mengetahui dan menganalisis level motivasi belajar siswa kelas VII SMPN 11 Palangka Raya. 3) Mengetahui level hasil belajar PAI siswa kelas VII SMPN 11 Palangka Raya. 4) Mengukur kontribusi aktivitas belajar terhadap hasil belajar PAI siswa kelas VII SMPN 11 Palangka Raya. 5) Mengukur kontribusi motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar PAI siswa kelas VII SMPN 11 Palangka Raya. 6) Mengukur kontribusi aktivitas belajar dan motivasi belajar secara simultan terhadap hasil belajar PAI siswa Kelas VII SMPN 11 Palangka Raya.

Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian ex post facto. Populasi dalam penelitian ini seluruh siswa kelas VII SMPN 11 Palangka Raya yang beragama Islam berjumlah 60 siswa dan sampel penelitian berjumlah 52 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa angket penelitian dan dokumen. Analisis data menggunakan rumus rata-rata, analisis korelasi, analisis regresi berganda dan koefisien determinan.

Hasil menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Level aktivitas belajar siswa kelas VII SMPN 11 Palangka Raya dengan rata-rata 3,885 berada pada kategori tinggi. 2) Level motivasi belajar siswa kelas VII SMPN 11 Palangka Raya dengan rata-rata 3,953 berada pada kategori tinggi. 3) Level hasil belajar siswa kelas VII SMPN 11 Palangka Raya dengan rata-rata hasil belajar 86,481 berada pada kategori baik. 4) Terdapat kontribusi aktivitas belajar terhadap hasil belajar PAI siswa sebesar 23,3%. 5) Terdapat kontribusi motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar PAI siswa sebesar 33,1%. 6) Terdapat kontribusi aktivitas belajar dan motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar PAI siswa sebesar 56,4% sedangkan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain.

ABSTRACT

This study departs from initial observations at SMPN 11 Palangka Raya, during the teaching and learning process there are still many students tend to be less active and do not pay attention to the explanation of PAI material from the teacher during learning, and students seem less motivated to learn. This causes the low student learning outcomes. Learning activities and student motivation in participating in learning are closely related to student learning outcomes. It is known that the higher learning activities and learning motivation, the higher the learning outcomes obtained by students.

The purpose of this study was to 1) determine and analyze the level of learning activity of class VII students of SMPN 11 Palangka Raya. 2) Knowing and analyzing the level of learning motivation of class VII students of SMPN 11 Palangka Raya. 3) Knowing the level of PAI learning outcomes for seventh grade students of SMPN 11 Palangka Raya. 4) Measuring the contribution of learning activities to PAI learning outcomes for seventh grade students of SMPN 11 Palangka Raya. 5) Measuring the contribution of learning motivation to PAI learning outcomes for seventh grade students of SMPN 11 Palangka Raya. 6) Measuring the contribution of learning activities and learning motivation simultaneously to the PAI learning outcomes of Class VII SMPN 11 Palangka Raya students.

The method used in this study is a quantitative method with the type of ex post facto research. The population in this study were all students of class VII SMPN 11 Palangka Raya who were Muslim, amounting to 60 students and the research sample amounting to 52 students. Data collection techniques in the form of research questionnaires and documents. Data analysis using the average formula, correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis and determinant coefficients.

The results show that: 1) The learning activity level of the seventh grade students of SMPN 11 Palangka Raya with an average of 3,885 is in the high category. 2) The level of learning motivation of seventh grade students of SMPN 11 Palangka Raya with an average of 3,953 is in the high category. 3) The level of student learning outcomes of class VII SMPN 11 Palangka Raya with an average learning outcome of 86,481 is in the good category. 4) There is a contribution of learning activities to students' PAI learning outcomes of 23,3%. 5) There is a contribution of learning motivation to students' PAI learning outcomes of 33,1%. 6) There is a contribution of learning activities and learning motivation to students' PAI learning outcomes by 56,4% while the rest is influenced by other variables.
