Abstract

meningkatkan motivasi kerja guru. Berdasarkan pengamatan di lapangan masih ada kepala sekolah SD di Palangka Raya yang belum menyadari bahkan belum mengerti tugas dan tanggung jawabnya sebagai seorang pemimpin pendidikan. Bahkan ditemukan peran kepala sekolah beralih; menjalankan fungsi atau perannya yang mencolok sebagai pengelola bangunan dan anggaran, penjaga dokumen, menyerahkan pembelajaran sepenuhnya kepada guru, memimpin dengan gaya yang otoriter dan seenaknya.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan menguji pengaruh :(1) gaya instruktif, (2) gaya konsultatif , (3) gaya partisipatif , (4) gaya delegatif terhadap motivasi kerja guru Sekolah Dasar di Palangka Raya. (5) gaya instruktif, gaya konsultatif , gaya partisipatif, gaya delegatif secara bersama-sama terhadap motivasi kerja guru Sekolah Dasar di Palangka Raya.
Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif yang menguji kausalitas (sebab-akibat) pengaruh antar variabel melalui pengujian hipotesis yang telah dirumuskan. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh kepala sekolah dan guru SD di Palangka Raya dengan mengambil sampel penelitian sebanyak 120 orang. Untuk menghitung validitas butir angket digunakan korelasi product moment dari Pearson. Uji hipotesis menggunakan proses perhitungan dengan pendekatan analisis regresi sederhana dan regresi berganda dengan bantuan program SPSS ver.20.0.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ; (1) gaya instruktif berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja dengan kontribusi sebesar 96,0%, (2) gaya konsultatif berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja dengan kontribusi sebesar 76,7%, (3) gaya partisipatif berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja dengan kontribusi sebesar 74,3%, (4) gaya delegatif berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja dengan kontribusi sebesar 10,4%, (5) gaya instruktif, gaya konsultatif, gaya partisipatif dan gaya delegatif secara bersama berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja sebesar 96,6%, selebihnya sebesar 3,4% motivasi kerja guru Sekolah Dasar di Palangka Raya ditentukan oleh faktor-faktor lain diluar penelitian

School principal leadership plays an important role to increase the motivation of teachers. Based on observations in the field there are still principals who do not understand the duties and responsibilities as an educational leader. Even found the role of principals who switch their function or role as the manager of the building and the budget, documents guard hand, on over the entirel task to the teachers , leading to an authoritarian style and arbitrarily, even discovered a switch of the school principals’ role of performing the function as a manajer of building and budget, as a documen keeper, delegating the entire teaching and learning process to the teachers, that all led to an authoritarian style.
The study aimed to analyze and test the effect of: (1) the instructive style, (2) the consultative style, (3) the participative style, (4) the delegative style on work motivation of elementary school teachers in Palangka Raya and (5) instructive style, consultative style, participative style and delegative style had effect on work motivation of elementary school teachers in Palangka Raya.
The type of study was a quantitative study that tested the causality (cause effect) of variables by testing the hypothesis that have been formulated. The research population was all elementary school principals and teachers in Palangka Raya by taking a sample study of 120 people. To calculate the validity of the questionnaire the product moment correlation of Pearson was used. The Hypothesis test used the calculation process with the approach of simple regression analysis a multiple regression with SPSS ver.20.0.
The results showed that; (1) the instructive style significantly affected work motivation with the contribution of 96.0%, (2) the consultative style influenced significantly towards work motivation with the contribution of 76.7%, (3) the partisipative style significantly affected off work motivation with the contribution of 74 , 3%, (4) The delegative style significantly affected on work motivation with the contribution of 10.4%, (5) instructive style, consultative style, participative style and delegative style had significant effect on work motivation at 96.6%, the difference of 3.4% work motivation motivation of elementary school teachers in Palangka Raya was affected by other factors in research
