Abstract
Abstract
Penelitian ini didasari karena di SMA Negeri 6 Palangka Raya khususnya untuk proses pembelajaran fisika, jarang menggunakan bahan ajar berupa lembar kerja peserta didik. Pendidik lebih sering menggunakan bahan ajar berupa modul dengan persentase 76,2% dan penggunaan lembar kerja peserta didik adalah 38,1%, sehingga mempengaruhi tingkat pemahaman dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan proses pengembangan lembar kerja peserta didik berbasis Problem Solving pada materi alat optik kelas XI, mendeskripsikan kelayakan lembar kerja peserta didik, mendeskripsikan respons pendidik dan respons peserta didik terhadap pengembangan lembar kerja peserta didik berbasis Problem Solving pada materi alat optik.
Penelitian yang dilakukan termasuk penelitian pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D) yang menggunakan model 4D (Define, Design, Development, Dissemination). Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas XI MIPA 1 SMA Negeri 6 Palangka Raya. Sumber data penelitian ini meliputi: data primer dari analisis kebutuhan serta wawancara dan data sekunder dari sumber jurnal serta penelitian relevan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi wawancara, penyebaran angket dan observasi. Lembar kerja peserta didik divalidasi oleh dua orang ahli materi dan dua orang ahli media.
Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa lembar kerja peserta didik berbasis Problem Solving pada materi alat optik yang diawali dengan tahap analisis kebutuhan dan masalah, kemudian dilakukan pengembangan lembar kerja peserta didik. Setelah itu, lembar kerja peserta didik divalidasi dan selanjutnya di uji coba kepada peserta didik dengan jumlah 15 orang. Validasi oleh tim ahli materi mendapatkan persentase sebesar 97,60% dan validasi oleh tim ahli media mendapatkan persentase sebesar 97,05% dengan kriteria sangat valid. Respons pendidik terhadap lembar kerja peserta didik berbasis Problem Solving yang dikembangkan menghasilkan kriteria sangat baik dengan persentase sebesar 97%, dan respons peserta didik yang dilakukan dengan cara uji coba kelompok kecil menunjukkan kriteria menarik dengan persentase sebesar 78,88%. Berdasarkan dengan hasil kegiatan yang dilakukan, dinyatakan bahwa lembar kerja peserta didik berbasis Problem Solving pada materi alat optik sangat valid dan menarik.
ABSTRACT
This research is based on the fact that SMA Negeri 6 Palangka Raya, especially for the physics learning process, rarely uses teaching materials in the form of student worksheets. Educators more often use teaching materials in the form of modules with a percentage of 76.2% and the use of student worksheets is 38.1%, thus affecting the level of understanding and problem solving abilities of students. The purpose of this study is to describe the process of developing student worksheets based on Problem Solving on class XI optical instrument materials, describing the feasibility of student worksheets, describing educators' responses and student responses to the development of student worksheets based on Problem Solving on optical instrument materials. .
Research conducted includes research and development or Research and Development (R&D) using a 4D model (Define, Design, Development, Dissemination). The research subjects were students of class XI MIPA 1 SMA Negeri 6 Palangka Raya. The data sources of this research include: primary data from needs analysis as well as interviews and secondary data from journal sources and relevant research. Data collection techniques used include interviews, distributing questionnaires and observation. The student worksheets were validated by two material experts and two media experts.
The results of this study are in the form of student worksheets based on Problem Solving on optical instrument material, which begins with the needs and problem analysis phase, then develops student worksheets. After that, the student worksheets were validated and then tested on 15 students. Validation by a team of material experts got a percentage of 97.60% and validation by a team of media experts got a percentage of 97.05% with very valid criteria. The teacher's response to the Problem Solving-based student worksheet that was developed resulted in very attractive criteria with a percentage of 97%, and student responses carried out by means of small group trials showed interesting criteria with a percentage of 78,88%. Based on the results of the activities carried out, it was stated that the student worksheets based on Problem Solving on optical instrument material were very interesting and valid.
