Abstract

Abstract

Penelitian ini diangkat berdasarkan keperluan variasi model pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara guru Fisika MA Darul Ulum Palangka Raya mengatakan kurang menggunakan model pembelajaran, hanya sekedar menyampaikan materi rumus dan contoh soal, juga dikerenakan guru bukan merupakan guru bidang studi melainkan guru kimia.

Penelitian ini bertujuan : (1) Untuk melihat ada tidaknya pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran discovery learning terhadap minat belajar siswa di MA Darul Ulum Palangka Raya. (2) Untuk melihat ada tidaknya pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran discovery learning terhadap hasil belajar siswa di MA Darul Ulum Palangka Raya. (3) Untuk melihat ada tidaknya kolerasi antara minat belajar siswa setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran discovery learning terhadap hasil belajar siswa di MA Darul Ulum Palangka Raya.

Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan kuantitatif dan jenis penelitiannya menggunakan desain pra eksperimental dengan tipe one group pretest-postest design. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan sampel jenuh yaitu seluruh siswa kelas XI IPA dengan jumlah 29 orang. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Agustus 2021. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket minat belajar, dan tes hasil belajar. Data hasil penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan program microsoft excel dan program SPSS for windows versi 21.0.

Hasil penelitian : (1) Terdapat pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran discovery learning terhadap minat belajar siswa di MA Darul Ulum Palangka Raya pada pertemuan I rata-rata siswa mendapat skor 49,1667 dan pertemuan ke II rata-rata siswa mendapat skor 70,91667. (2) Terdapat pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran discovery learning terhadap hasil belajar siswa di MA Darul Ulum Palangka Raya, pertemuan ke I rata-rata siswa mendapat nilai pretest 33,333, dan pertemuan ke II pada postest rata-rata siswa mendapat 40,00. (3) Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara minat dan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran discovery learning, diketahui nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,600 dan nilai signifikan sebesar 0,039 lebih kecil dari alpha 0,05 berarti menyatakan adanya hubungan yang kuat antara minat belajar terhadap hasil belajar.

This research was appointed based on the need for variations in learning models. Based on the results of the interview, the MA Physics teacher Darul Ulum Palangka Raya said that he did not use learning models, only conveying formula material and sample questions, also because the teacher was not a teacher in the field of study but a chemistry teacher.

This study aims: (1) To see whether there is an effect of the application of discovery learning learning model on student interest in learning at MA Darul Ulum Palangka Raya. (2) To see whether there is an effect of the application of discovery learning learning model on student learning outcomes at MA Darul Ulum Palangka Raya. (3) To see whether there is a correlation between students' interest in learning after the discovery learning model is applied to student learning outcomes at MA Darul Ulum Palangka Raya.

This study uses a quantitative approach and the type of research used is a pre-experimental design with the type of one group pretest-posttest design. Sampling used saturated samples, namely all students of class XI IPA with a total of 29 people. This research was conducted in August 2021. The instruments used were a learning interest questionnaire, and a learning outcome test. The data from this study were analyzed using the Microsoft Excel program and the SPSS for Windows version 21.0 program.

The results of the study: (1) There is an effect of the application of discovery learning learning models on student interest in learning at MA Darul Ulum Palangka Raya at the first meeting the average student scores 49.1667 and the second meeting the average student scores 70.91667. (2) There is an effect of the application of discovery learning learning model on student learning outcomes at MA Darul Ulum Palangka Raya, the first meeting the average student got a pretest score of 33.333, and the second meeting at the posttest the average student got 40.00. (3) There is a significant relationship between interest and student learning outcomes using discovery learning learning model, it is known that the correlation coefficient value is 0.600 and a significant value of 0.039 is smaller than alpha 0.05 which means that there is a strong relationship between interest in learning and learning outcomes.
