Abstract
SDN Percobaan Palangka Raya adalah sekolah yang menjadi contoh bagi SD yang lainnya, karena telah menerapkan kurikulum 2013. Pendidikan karakter dalam kurikulum 2013 dirumuskan di setiap mata pelajaran berdasar pada Kompetensi Dasar dan Kompetensi Inti yang ingin dicapai, terutama mata pelajaran PAI yang pembelajarannya berdasarkan al-Qur’an dan Hadits sangat berperan dalam langkah penanaman nilai-nlai karakter untuk meciptakan generasi penerus yang berakhlak mulia. Sehingga peneliti tertarik meneliti tentang pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter dalam pembelajaran mata pelajaran PAI Kurikulum 2013 di SDN Percobaan Palangka Raya tersebut.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan: 1) Materi pendidikan karakter pada mata pelajaran PAI kurikulum 2013 di kelas IV dan V SDN Percobaan Palangka Raya; 2) Pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter pada mata pelajaran PAI kurikulum 2013 di SDN Percobaan Palangka Raya; 3) Strategi pembelajaran pendidikan karakter yang dilaksanakan Guru PAI di SDN Percobaan Palangka Raya; dan 4) Media pembelajaran pendidikan karakter pada mata pelajaran PAI kurikulum 2013 di SDN Percobaan Palangka Raya.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif analitik. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subyek penelitiannya 4 orang Guru PAI dan informan sebagai sumber data adalah Guru PAI, Peserta didik kelas IV dan V berjumlah 140 orang, Kepala Sekolah serta TU SDN Percobaan Palangka Raya.
Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa: 1) Materi PAI di kelas IV tentang Kisah Keteladan Wali Songo dan kelas V tentang Meneladani Luqman al-Hakim. Materi tersebut sudah sesuai dengan Kompetensi Dasar dan Kompetensi Inti (1 dan 2) dalam kurikulum 2013. Kedua materi PAI Kurikulum 2013 tersebut memuat 18 nilai karakter yang harus dikembangkan sekolah dalam menentukan keberhasilan pendidikan karakter; 2) Pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter pada Mata Pelajaran PAI bertempat di kelas, dalam musholla, teras, halaman musholla dan di pasah/kasebo/pondok belajar samping musholla; waktu pelaksanaan terjadwal secara rutin untuk kelas IV dan V; dan kegiatan pembelajaran PAI terbagi menjadi tiga tahap kegiatan yaitu pendahuluan, inti dan penutup; 3) Strategi yang dilaksanakan guru PAI yaitu: strategi pembelajaran PAI, pembiasaan melalui kegiatan keagamaan, pembinaan melalui nasihat dan motivasi, kegiatan Intrakurikuler dan Ekstrakurikuler, kegiatan spontan; dan pengondisian lingkungan; dan 4) Penggunaan media masih sangat minim, hanya guru yang mengajar di kelas yang menggunakan LCD sedangkan guru yang mengajar di luar kelas tidak dapat menggunakannya .
ABSTRACT
Elementary Model School in Palangka Raya is a school that became an example or model for the others, since elementary school has implemented a curriculum in 2013. Character education curriculum in 2013 was formulated in each subject based on basis competence and core competence to be achieved, especially the PAI subject based on the Quran and the Hadith was instrumental in step the cultivation of the values of characters to create the next generation noble character. So the researchers interested in examining the implementation of character education in PAI learning subject curriculum 2013 at Elementary Model School in Palangka Raya.
The purpose of this study was to describe the: 1) Materials of character education on the PAI subject curriculum in 2013 at IV and V grades at Elementary Model School in Palangka Raya ; 2) Implementation of character education on the PAI subject curriculum in 2013 at Elementary Model School in Palangka Raya; 3) Learning strategies of character education which implemented by teacher of PAI subject at Elementary Model School in Palangka Raya; and 4) Learning media of character education of PAI subject curriculum in 2013 at Elementary Model School in Palangka Raya.
This study used a qualitative approach to the kind of descriptive analytic study. The data collection techniques are by observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects are 4 PAI teachers and the informant as the source of data is PAI teachers, students grade of 4 and 5 totaling 140 people, the head master and administrators at Elementary Model School in Palangka Raya.
The results of this study concluded that: 1 PAI material at IV grade about Wali Songo story model and grade V about Luqman al-Hakim model. The material is compliance with the basic competence and core competence (1 and 2) to be achieved in 2013 curriculum. Both the PAI materials curriculum in 2013 accommodate 18 characters value must be developed in the school in determining the success of character education; 2) implementation of character education in the subjects of PAI is housed in the classroom, in a small mosque, a terrace, a small mosque, mosque yard, and in the market/ kazebo/hut for learning beside small mosque; the scheduled execution time regularly for class IV and V; learning activities of PAI is divided into three stages of activity, namely introduction, core and cover; 3) Strategy that used by PAI teachers that are; conditioning through the habit as religious activities; coaching through advice and motivation; intracurricular activities and extracurricular activities; spontaneous activity; and conditioning the environment; and 4) the use of the media is still very minimal, only teachers taught in classes that use the LCD while teachers teaching outside the classroom can not use it.
