Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui : (1) aktivitas pendidik, (2) aktivitas peserta didik, (3) peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik, (4) hasil belajar siswa setelah menerapkan model pembelajaran Inkuiri Terbimbing dengan metode Pictorial Riddle pada pokok bahasan Tekanan. Penelitian ini menggunakan model rancangan One-group Pretest-Postest Design. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar pengamatan aktivitas pendidik dan peserta didik,tes keterampilan berpikir Kritis serta hasil belajar peserta didik. Populasi penelitian adalah kelas VIII semester 1 MTs An-Nur Palangka Raya Tahun pelajaran 2017/2018, sampel penelitian berjumlah 30 orang sebagai kelas eksperimen yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Analisis data aktivitas pendidik, aktivitas peserta didik, pretest, postest keterampilan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar peserta didik menggunakan Microsoft Excel 2007.
Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1) aktivitas pendidik dalam kategori baik dengan persentase nilai rata-rata sebesar 82,69 %, (2) aktivitas peserta didik termasuk dalam kategori baik dengan persentase nilai rata-rata sebesar 78,7%, (3) nilai gain keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik dalam pembelajaran fisika dengan metode Pictorial Riddle pokok bahasan tekanan menggunakan model pembelajaran Inkuiri Terbimbing termasuk dalam kategori sedang, presentase nilai rata-rata sebesar 28,17 dan nilai peningkatan (N-gain) keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik termasuk dalam kategori sedang dengan presentase nilai rata-rata sebesar 0,33. Analisis hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan pada keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran Inkuiri Terbimbing pada materi pokok Tekanan, dan (4) Hasil belajar peserta didik setelah menerapkan model pembelajaran Inkuiri Terbimbing dengan metode Pictorial Riddle pada pokok bahasan Tekanan termasuk dalam kategori sedang dengan nilai rata-rata pretest 10,48 sedangkan nilai rata-rata postest 62,21. Dan nilai gain pada hasil belajar peserta didik 41,73 dan nilai peningkatan ( N-gain ) hasil belajar peserta didik adalah 0,58.
ABSTRACT
This research was purposed to know: (1) the educator activities, (2) students activities, (3) the increasing students’ critical thinking skills, (4) students’ learning achievements after implementing the guided inquiry model with Pictorial Riddle method in subject of pressure. This research used One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The research instrument that was used are students and educators’ observation sheet, critical thinking skills test, and students’ learning achievements. The research population was at VIII grades first semester, on MTs An-Nur Palangka Raya, in academic years of 2017/2018. The research sampling were 30 students in experiment class that was choosen by purposive sampling technique. The data analyzing of educators, students’ activities, pretest, posttest, critical thinking skills and students’ learning achievements used Microsoft Excel 2007.
The result of this research showed that: (1) the educators’ activities in good category with the percentage of average 82,69%, (2) the students’ activities in good category with the percentage of average 78,7%, (3) The gain value of students’ critical thinking skills in the physics subject with The Pictorial Riddle at material of pressure by using guided inquiry learning model included to medium category, the average percentage was 28,17 and the gain value (Ngain) of students’ critical thinking skills included medium category with the average percenatge was 0,33. The analyzing hypothesis showed that there is the increasing in students’ critical thinking skills after using guided inquiry learning model in subject material of pressure. and (4) the students’ achievements after using guided inquiry learning model with Pictorial Riddle in subject material of pressure included to medium category with the average of pretest value was 10,48 while the average of post-test value was 62,21, and the gain vale in students’ learning achievements was 41,73 also the gain value (N-gain) of students’ learning achivements was 0,58.
