Abstract

Ma’had Al-Jamiah didirikan bukan hanya menjadi tempat tinggal bagi mahasiswa, karena sewaktu tinggal di sana mahasiswa diharuskan mengikuti kegiatan yang sifatnya menunjang pendidikan akademik dan keagamaan. Kegiatan pembinaan keagamaan bertujuan untuk memberikan wawasan yang lebih luas bagi mahasiswa selain ilmu yang didapatkan di bangku perkuliahan, agar lulusan dari STAIN Palangka Raya diharapkan menjadi sarjana yang berkualitas. Suatu program yang dijalankan tentunya tidak semua bisa diterima dan diikuti dengan baik, walaupun tujuannya sudah jelas,karena persepsi mahasiswa tentang kegiatan pembinaan keagamaan yang dilakukan tidak semuanya sama. Rumusan masalah: 1) Bagaimana potret pelaksanaan kegiatan pembinaan keagamaan di Ma’had Al-Jamiah STAIN Palangka Raya? 2) Bagaimana persepsi mahasiswa tentang kegiatan pembinaan keagamaan di Ma’had Al-Jamiah STAIN Palangka Raya? Tujuan penelitian Untuk mendeskripsikan: a) Potret pelaksanaan kegiatan pembinaan keagamaan di Ma’had Al-Jamiah STAIN Palangka Raya; b) Persepsi mahasiswa terhadap kegiatan pembinaan keagamaan di Ma’had AlJamiah STAIN Palangka Raya. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Pemilihan subjek dengan teknik snowball sampling berjumlah 15 orang mahasiswa yang dianggap aktif dalam mengikuti kegiatan pembinaan keagamaan di Ma’had Al-Jamiah. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi, kemudian diabsahkan dengan menggunakan teknik triangulasi. Hasil penelitian: (1) Potret pelaksanaan kegiatan pembinaan keagamaan di Ma’had Al-Jamiah sudah berjalan cukup lancar, seperti kajian tafsir, kajian hadits, muhadaroh, dan kultum. Kegiatan ini sudah terjadwal dan terkoordinir sehingga memudahkan bagi mahasiswa untuk mengikutinya, namun tidak semua kegiatan diikuti oleh mahasiswa karena sebagian mahasiswa mempunyai kesibukan masing-masing di antaranya mengerjakan tugas kuliah. (2 Persepsi mahasiswa terhadap kegiatan pembinaan keagamaan yang dilakukan di Ma’had Al-Jamiah itu beragam persepsi yang disampaikan, ada yang mengatakan lancar, cukup lancar, bagus sekali, dan ada yang mengatakan masih harus dilakukan perbaikan, serta kendala yang dihadapi oleh mahasiswa, seperti padatnya jadwal kegiatan yang dilakukan pada malam hari sehingga terkadang mengganggu aktivitas mahasiswa dalam mengerjakan tugas kuliah, serta peran musrif, musrifah dan pembina dirasa masih kurang efektif dan masih kurang tegas, meskipun ada kendala tersebut, banyak manfaat yang diperoleh di antaranya bertambahnya pengetahuan mahasiswa terhadap ilmu tafsir dan hadits, bertambahnya pengetahuan terhadap pelajaran serta kosa kata bahasa Arab dan bahasa Inggris, bertambahnya keberanian diri untuk berbicara setelah mengikuti kegaiatan kultum dan terjalinnya tali silaturrahim sesama penghuni Ma’had.

Ma’had Al-Jamiah is not only founded for staying because they students should follow activities which support academic and religion education. The activities of religion nurture are intended to give broad outlooks for the students instead of knowledge obtained in the class so that STAIN graduates can be qualified. One program cannot be accepted and folloed although the objectives are clear. Therefore, the perception of the students toward the activities of the nurture of religion which are done at Ma’had Al-Jamiah STAIN Palangka Raya is important to be explored. The problems of the study : 1) How the portrait of the implemention of the nurture of religion at Ma’had Al-Jamiah STAIN Palangka Raya? 2) how the perceptions of the students toward the activities of the nurture of religion at Ma’had Al-Jamiah STAIN Palangka Raya? The objectives of the study are: 1) to describe the portrait of the implementation of the nurture of religion at Ma’had Al-Jamiah STAIN Palangka Raya, 2) to describe the perceptions of the students toward the activities of the nurture of religion at Ma’had Al-Jamiah STAIN Palangka Raya. The study uses qualitative approach. The choice of the subject is done through snowball sampling. There are 15 students which are considered to be active in following the activities of the nurture of religion at Ma’had Al-Jamiah STAIN Palangka Raya. The techniques of data collection include observation, interview and documentation and then it validated through triangulation. The results of the study can be explained as follows. (1) In general, the portrait of the implementation of the nurture of religion at Ma’had Al-Jamiah STAIN Palangka Raya run effectively, tafsir study, hadits study, muhadaroh. And lecturing and general activities such learning together, public speaking, developing vocabulary and work together. These activities are already scheduled and coordinated so that the students are easy to follow the activities. However, not all students can follow activities because they have their own business to do the assingments. (2) the perceptions of the students toward the activities of the nurture of religion at Ma’had Al-Jamiah STAIN Palangka Raya are varied: Some students say that the activities run well, Some students say that the activities should be revised. The obstacles to be faced by the students are: the activities are done at night so that the activities disturb the students to do their assingments, the roles of musrif, musrifah and the nurture are not effective and firmed. Althugh there many obstacles, they are many advantages to be taken such as the increases of the knowledge of the students toward tafsir sciences, knowledge of the students toward the subjects, the English and Arabic vocabulary, the increases of selfconfidence to speak, after following 7 minutes lecturing, the relitionships among the students living in the dormitory are strongly tied. v
