Abstract
Penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan hasil analisis kebutuhan pada observasi pra-penelitian. Hasil sebaran anget di kelas XI SMA Negeri 5 Palangka Raya diketahui bahwa siswa menyukai pembelajaran fisika yang sifatnya memprediksi dan mengobservasi suatu fenomena di kehidupan sehari-hari. Siswa juga senang belajar menggunakan e-module dalam pembelajaran. Namun, e-module yang digunakan di sekolah masih belum mampu meningkatkan semangat belajar siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses pengembangan e-module berbasis POE (Predict, Observe, Explain) pada materi teori kinetik gas untuk siswa kelas XI, mengetahui kelayakan produk berupa e-module dan mengetahui respon guru fisika dan respon siswa terhadap e-module yang dikembangkan.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode R&D (Research and Development) dengan model 4D dengan tahapan-tahapannya yaitu define (pendefinisian), design (perancangan), development (pengembangan), dessemination (penyebaran). Namun, pada penelitian ini hanya dibatasi sampai tahap development.
Hasil penelitian ini ialah : 1) prosedur pembuatan e-module yaitu analisis kebutuhan, pendefinisian tujuan dan batasan materi, desain e-module, dan validasi para ahli terhadap e-module yang dikembangkan; 2) kelayakan e-module, yakni hasil validasi ahli media diperoleh persentase 89,5% dengan kriteria sangat valid. Hasil validasi ahli materi diperoleh persentase 89,6% dengan kriteria sangat valid dan hasil validasi ahli pembelajaran diperoleh persentase 93,6% dengan kriteria sangat valid; 3) Hasil dari respon guru diperoleh persentase 82,6 % dengan kategori sangat baik dan kriteria sangat menarik , dan respon siswa diperoleh persentase 75,1% dengan kategori sangat baik dan kriteria menarik.
ABSTRACT
This research was conducted based on the results of the needs analysis on pre-research observations. The results of the anget distribution in class XI SMA Negeri 5 Palangka Raya are known that students like physics learning which is predictive and observing a phenomenon in everyday life. Students also enjoy learning to use e-modules in learning. However, the e-module used in schools is still not able to increase students' enthusiasm for learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the process of developing an e-module based on POE (Predict, Observe, Explain) on gas kinetic theory material for class XI students, determine the feasibility of the product in the form of an e-module and determine the physics teacher's response and student response to the e-module that developed.
This study uses the R&D (Research and Development) method with a 4D model with the stages, namely define, design, development, dessemination. However, in this study only limited to the development stage.
The results of this study are: 1) e-module procedures, namely needs analysis, defining the objectives and limitations of the material, e-module design, and expert validation of the developed e-module; 2) e-module, ie the results of media expert validation obtained a percentage of 89.5% with very valid criteria.
