Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi pembelajaran online mata pelajaran PAI yang merupakan hal baru bagi SDN 1 Kotawaringin Hulu. Penelitian ini fokus dalam penggunaan WhatsApp selama pembelajaran online. Rumusan masalah pada penelitin ini yaitu: (1) bagaimana persepsi orangtua mengenai bahan ajar PAI; (2) bagaimana persepsi orangtua mengenai suasana belajar PAI di masa pandemi: (3) bagaimana persepsi orangtua mengenai media WhatsApp sebagai pendukung pembelajaran online mata pelajaran PAI; dan (4) bagaimana persepsi orangtua mengenai guru sebagai subyek pembelajaran PAI. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) mendeskripsikan dan mengeksplor persepsi orangtua mengenai bahan ajar PAI; (2) mendeskripsikan dan mengeksplor persepsi orangtua mengenai suasana belajar PAI di masa pandemi: (3) mendeskripsikan dan mengeksplor persepsi orangtua mengenai media WhatsApp sebagai pendukung pembelajaran PAI secara online; dan (4) mendeskripsikan dan mengeksplor persepsi orangtua mengenai guru sebagai subyek pembelajaran PAI.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian campuran (mix method), peneliti berusaha menunjukkan bahwa adanya suatu fenomena tentang persepsi orangtua dengan didukung dengan tabel dan diagram. Sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu orangtua kelas V dan VI SDN 1 Kotawaringin Hulu, Kecamatan Kotawaringin Lama, Kabupaten Kotawaringin Barat, peneliti mengambil sampel sebanyak 65 orangtua. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini berupa wawancara dan lembar angket yang terdiri dari 27 pernyataan yang sebelumnya telah divalidasi oleh 2 orang dosen ahli dan diuji validitas dan reliabilitas instrument menggunakan SPSS.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Persepsi orangtua mengenai bahan PAI mencapai 50,8%. Bahan ajar yang diberikan guru PAI sudah mencakup aspek pengetahuan, sikap dan keterampilan; 2) Persepsi orangtua mengenai suasana belajar PAI di masa pandemi mencapai 33,3%. Siswa belajar di rumah dengan suasana kondusif dan sarana yang memadai, pembelajaran online mata pelajaran PAI membuat orangtua merasa hubungan dengan anak menjadi semakin akrab; 3) Persepsi orangtua mengenai media whatsapp sebagai pendukung pembelajaran online mata pelajaran PAI mencapai 34,9%. Materi yang diberikan melalui WhatsApp dapat diputar secara berulang-ulang, namun orangtua kesulitan memberikan penjelasan tambahan untuk anak dan orangtua merasa pembelajaran online mata pelajaran PAI memerlukan banyak dan kuota internet cukup mahal; dan 4) Persepsi orangtua mengenai mengenai Guru sebagai Subyek Pembelajaran PAI mencapai 36,5%. Guru PAI mengelola pembelajaran dengan baik dan melaksanakan perannya dengan baik.
Abstract
The research background of online learning in PAI subject who was new to SDN 1 Kotawaringin Hulu. This study was only in using WhatsApp application during online learning. Research problem in this study was: (1) how the parents’ perceptions of PAI teaching materials; (2) how the parents’ perceptions of PAI learning situation in during pandemic; (3) how the parents’ perceptions of PAI whatsApp media to support PAI subject; (4) how the parents’ perceptions of the teacher as subject learning in PAI subject. The aim of this research was: (1) To describe and explore the parents’ perceptions of PAI teaching materials; (2) To describe and explore the parents’ perceptions of PAI learning situation in during pandemic; (3) To describe and explore the parents’ perceptions of PAI whatsApp media to support PAI subject; and (4) ) To describe and explore the parents’ perceptions of the teacher as subject learning in PAI subject.
This study used mixed method research. The Researcher showed that are phenomenon of the parents’ perceptions with support by tables and diagrams. The sample of this research that were the parents of class V and class VI in SDN 1 Kotawaringin Hulu, Kecamatan Kotawaringin Lama, Kabupaten Kotawaringin Barat, the reasearcher took a sample of 65 parents. Technique of collecting data was use questionnaire, observation, interview, and documentation. Data insrument of this study were interview, 27 questionnaire sheet statements and it had validated by 2 lecturers expert. And it also tested the validity and reliability with SPSS application.
The results of this research show that:1) The parents’ perceptions about PAI material reached 50,8 %. The teaching materials provided by PAI teachers include knowledge aspects, attitudes and skills;2) the parents’ perceptions about PAI learning situations in pandemic reached 33,3 %. The students studied at home with conducive situation and adequate facilities, the learning online in PAI subjects made the parents felt their relationship being closer to chlidren.;3) The parents’ perception about whatsapp media to support online learning PAI subjects reached 34,9 %. The materials provided by the teachers can be played repeatdly but the parents got difficult to give additional explaining for children and also the parents felt that online learning in PAI subjects need a lot internet quota and more expensive; 4) the parents’ perception about the teachers as PAI learning subject reached 36,5 % . PAI Teachers managed the good learning and also the good implementation of the teachers roles.
