Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui : (1) Keterterapan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing materi klasifikasi hewan kelas VII-5 SMPN 6 Palangka Raya. (2) Motivasi peserta didik pada materi klasifikasi hewan kelas VII-5 SMPN 6 Palangka Raya dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing (3) Hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik pada materi klasifikasi hewan kelas VII-5 SMPN 6 Palangka Raya dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing.

Penelitian ini menggunakan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan desain penelitian one group prettest- posttest design. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah Lembar pengamatan keterterapan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing. Angket motivasi belajar, tes hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik.

Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa nilai rata- rata keterterapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tiap pertemuan diperoleh hasil rata-rata sebagai berikut, untuk lembar observasi 1 sebesar 80 %, lembar observasi 2 sebesar 100% dengan rata-rata akhir 90% dengan kategori sangat baik. hasil angket motivasi awal belajar peserta didik, tiap indikator diperoleh nilai rata-rata indikator 1) sebesar 53% dengan kategori kurang baik. 2) sebesar 54% dengan kategori kurang baik. 3) sebesar 55% dengan kategori kurang baik 4) sebesar 58% dengan kategori kurang baik. 5) sebesar 64% dengan kategori cukup baik. Hasil angket motivasi akhir belajar peserta didik, tiap indikator diperoleh nilai rata-rata indikator 1) sebesar 67% dengan kategori cukup baik. 2) sebesar 70% dengan kategori baik. 3) sebesar 72% dengan kategori baik 4) sebesar 74% dengan kategori baik. 5) sebesar 77% dengan kategori baik. Hasil belajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dengan nilai pretest 35.68, postest 73.44, gain 37.75 dan N-gain 0.58 dengan kategori sedang. Berdasarkan data tersebut terdapat Peningkatan Model Pembelajaran Inkuiri Terbimbing Berbantuan Media Brosur Materi Klasifikasi Hewan Terhadap Motivasi dan Hasil Belajar Kognitif Peserta Didik Kelas VII-5 SMPN 6 Palangka Raya.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) The applicability of the guided inquiry learning model in class VII-5 class material at SMPN 6 Palangka Raya. (2) Students' motivation on class VII-5 class material at SMPN 6 Palangka Raya using guided inquiry learning model (3) Student cognitive learning outcomes on class VII-5 animal classification material at SMPN 6 Palangka Raya using guided inquiry learning model .

This research uses descriptive quantitative research design with one group pretest-posttest design. The instrument used was the observation sheet on the application of guided inquiry learning models. Learning motivation questionnaire, test cognitive learning outcomes of students.

The results showed that the average value of the applicability of the cooperative learning model for each meeting obtained an average result as follows, for observation sheet 1 of 80%, observation sheet 2 of 100% with a final average of 90% with a very good category. the results of students' initial motivation learning questionnaire, each indicator obtained an average value of indicators 1) of 53% with the category of not good. 2) by 54% with the category of not good. 3) by 55% with poor category 4) by 58% with poor category. 5) by 64% with quite good category. The results of the students' final learning motivation questionnaire, each indicator obtained an average value of indicators 1) of 67% with the category quite good. 2) by 70% with a good category. 3) by 72% in the good category 4) by 74% in the good category. 5) by 77% with a good category. Learning outcomes using the guided inquiry learning model with a pretest value of 35.68, posttest 73.44, gain 37.75 and N-gain 0.58 with the medium category. Based on these data there is an Improvement of Guided Inquiry Learning Model Assisted by Media Classification of Animal Classification Brochures on the Motivation and Cognitive Learning Outcomes of Class VII-5 Students of SMPN 6 Palangka Raya.
