Abstract

Pendidikan Kesetaraan Pondok Pesantren Salafiyah (PK-PPS) merupakan jalur pendidikan non formal yang ditujukan bagi peserta didik yang karena berbagai alasan tidak dapat menyelesaikan pendidikannya atau putus sekolah. Surat Keputusan Direktur Jenderal Pendidikan Islam nomor 1772 dan 3543 tahun 2018 mengatur tentang penyelenggaraan PK-PPS. SK tersebut menyatakan ada dua kurikulum yang wajib diterapkan PK-PPS yaitu kurikulum keagamaan dan kurikulum mata pelajaran umum, namun faktanya kurikulum mata pelajaran umum masih tidak bisa diterapkan sepenuhnya oleh PK-PPS di Kotawaringin Timur.

Penelitian ini akan menjawab bagaimana penerapan kurikulum mata pelajaran umum di PK-PPS se-Kotawaringin Timur. Apa saja problem yang ditemui dan bagaimana solusi dari problem tersebut.

Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan kurikulum mata pelajaran umum pada PK-PPS se-Kotawaringin Timur, menganalisis problem dan mencari solusi dari problem tersebut. Secara spesifik penelitian kualitatif deskriptif ini menggunakan metode penelitian multi kasus/multi situs. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Data didapat dari pimpinan pondok pesantren, guru mata pelajaran dan santri. Analisis data dilakukan dengan membuat gambaran secara sistematis melalui reduksi data, paparan data, dan penarikan kesimpulan.

Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 1) Problem dalam penerapan kurikulum mata pelajaran umum di Pondok Pesantren Sabilal Muhtadin antara lain: a) media pembelajaran, b) santri yang kurang disiplin, dan c) keterbatasan buku-buku bahan bacaan. 2) Problem dalam penerapan kurikulum mata pelajaran umum di Pondok Pesantren Tahfidzul Qur’an Darul Iman antara lain: a) kurangnya tenaga pendidik yang berkompeten, b) alokasi waktu belajar, c) tidak adanya kurikulum kesetaraan khusus untuk pondok pesantren salafiyah, d) sarana prasarana penunjang dan e) pembiayaan. 3) Problem dalam penerapan kurikulum mata pelajaran umum di pondok pesantren salafiyah Darul Aitam antara lain: a) keterbatasan sarana prasarana, b) tidak adanya tenaga pendidik mata pelajaran umum yang sesuai dengan kualifikasi pengasuh, dan c) kurangnya komunikasi antara pihak pondok pesantren dan Kementerian Agama kabupaten Kotawaringin Timur terkait juknis pendidikan kesetaraan pondok pesantren salafiyah.

Abstract

Equality education in Salafiyah Islamic Boarding School (PK-PPS) is a non-formal education route aimed at students who for various reasons cannot complete their education or dropout. Decree of the Director General of Islamic Education number 1772 and 3543 of 2018 regulates the implementation of PK-PPS. The decree states that there are two curricula that PK-PPS must apply, the two curricula are the religious and the general subject curriculum. However, the fact is the general subject curriculum can’t be fully implemented by PK-PPS on Kotawaringin Timur.

This research will answer how the application of the general subject curriculum for Equality Education in Salafiyah Islamic Boarding School. What are the problems encountered and how are the solutions to these problems.

The research used the qualitative approach to describe the implementation of the general subject curriculum for equality education in salafiyah Islamic boarding school on Kotawaringin Timur, at analysis problems and to find solutions at these problems. In more specific, the study applied qualitative paradigm using the multi case/multisite method. The techniques to collect the data were observation, interview and documentation. The data were obtained from the boarding school leaders, general subject teachers and students. Data analysis was carried out by making descriptions systematically through data reduction, data exposure, and drawing conclusions.

The result of the study showed that 1) the problems of implementing general subject curriculum at Sabilal Muhtadin Boarding Schools include a) learning media, b) students who lack discipline, and c) limited reading books. 2) the problems of implementing general subject curriculum at Tahfidzul Qur’an Darul Iman Boarding Schools include a) lack of competent educators, b) allocation of study time, c) absence of a special equivalency curriculum for salafiyah Islamic boarding schools, d) supporting infrastructure and e) financing. 3) the problems of implementing general subject curriculum at Darul Aitam Boarding Schools include a) limited infrastructure, b) lack of general subject teaching staff who are in accordance with the qualifications of caregivers, and c) lack of communication between the boarding school and the Ministry of Religion of East Kotawaringin district regarding the technical guidelines for the equality of salafiyah Islamic boarding school education.
