Abstract

ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) kemampuan kognitif yang dilihat dari hasil belajar peserta didik yang kelas XI MAN Model Palangka Raya dalam mengerjakan soal-soal uraian terstruktur pada pokok bahasan Teori Kinetik Gas; dan (2) kesulitan peserta didik dalam mengerjakan soal-soal uraian terstruktur. Pokok masalah dari penelitian ini adalah hasil belajar yang diperoleh peserta didik masih tergolong rendah dan peserta didik mengalami kesulitan dalam mengerjakan soal uraian terstruktur.

Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dalam mengumpulkan datanya. Penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen dalam bentuk soal uraian terstruktur. Hasil uji coba soal uraian terstruktur pada kelas XI IA-1 MAN Model Palangka Raya mendapatkan tingkat validitas rata-rata 0,536 dan tingkat reliabilitas soal 0,539 dengan kategori cukup. Populasi penelitian adalah kelas XI IA semester II MAN Model Palangka Raya Tahun Ajaran 2014/2015. Sampel penelitian adalah kelas XI IA-2 berjumlah 36 orang peserta didik. Analisis data tes uraian terstruktur menggunakan program SPSS versi 18.0 for windows.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) peserta didik yang mampu dan tidak mengalami masalah dalam mengerjakan soal-soal uraian terstruktur berjumlah 18 peserta didik dan 12 peserta didik tidak mampu dan mengalami masalah dalam mengerjakan soal-soal uraian terstruktur. Peserta didik yang mampu mengerjakan soal-soal uraian terstruktur memiliki ketuntasan belajar ≥ batas KKM, yaitu 60% (2) kesulitan peserta didik dalam mengerjakan soal-soal uraian terstruktur terdapat pada penyebutan dan penulisan satuan besaran pada jawaban dengan persentase kesulitan 36,7%, penguasaan operasi hitungan dengan persentase kesulitan 31,4% dan penulisan besaran yang ditanya dalam soal dengan persentase kesulitan 28,6%.

ABSTRACT

The study aims to determine (1) the cognitive abilities seen from learning outcomes of students at XI class on MAN Model Palangkaraya to do the questions describing structured on the subject of kinetic theory of gases, and (2) to determine the difficulty of learners’ performance do the questions describing structured. The subject matter of this study is to learn the results obtained by students is still relatively low and learners have difficulty in working on the problems of structured description.

The study belongs to quantitative research methods in collecting the data. The study uses the instrument in the form of a structured problem description. The test result about a structured description of the XI class IA-1 MAN Model of Palangkaraya is obtain a validity average rate of 0,536 and 0,539 with a degree of reliability about medium category. The population of the study is XI class IA MAN Model Palangkaraya in second semester 2014/2015 academic years. The sample research is class XI IA-2 amounted to 36 learners. The test of data analysis in structured description is using SPSS versa 18.0 for windows.

The results showed that: (1) Learners capable and not having problem to do the questions describing structured numbered 18 learners and 12 learners not capable and have problem to do the questions describing structured. Learners capable to do the questions describing structured has mastery learning ≥ KKM, that is 60%. (2) the difficulty of learners in the assignment on the problems contained in the structured description of the mentions and writing unit of the answer with a percentage 36,7% difficulty, control the count operation with difficulty percentage of 31,4%, and the writing the amount asked in question with a percentage 28,6% difficulty.
