Abstract
Penguatan pendidikan karekter pada siswa sangat penting. SMA Hasanka Palangka Raya memiliki program penguatan pendidikan karakter siswa melalui kegiatan ekstrakurikuler Keagamaan. Menurut penuturan salah satu Guru di sma Hasanka Palangka Raya telah terjadi perubahan pada karakter siswa setelah diwajibkannya kegiatan ekstrakurikuler keagamaan. Peserta didik menjadi lebih disiplin dating ke sekolah, perilaku lebih santun, bertanggung jawab.
Rumusan masalah penelitian adalah : 1) Apa saja kegiaatan ekstrakurikuler keagamaan di SMA Hasanka Palangka Raya, dan 2) Bagaimana pelaksanaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler keagamaan melalui pengautan pendidikan karakter siswa di SMA Hasanka Palangka Raya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap hal-hal berikut: 1) Menganalisis kegiaatan ekstrakurikuler keagamaan di SMA Hasanka Palangka Raya, dan 2) Mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler keagamaan melalui pengautan pendidikan karakter siswa di SMA Hasanka Palangka Raya.
Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis kualitatif, yang digali menggunakan teknik: observasi terhadap apa saja kegiatan dan pelaksanaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler keagamaan; teknik wawancara mendalam kepada subjek penelitian yaitu Wali kelas X,XI dan XII, guru PAI, guru Kepondokan, juga wawancara kepada informen penelitian yaitu kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah bagian kurikulum, dan 5 orang siswa kelas XI, XII; serta menggunakan teknik dokumentasi. Pengabsahan datanya menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : 1) kegiatan ekstrakurikuler keagamaan di SMA Hasanka Palangka Raya direncanakan dan diprogramkan secara sempurna oleh kepala sekolah dan wali kelas dan guru. Kegiatan ekstrakurikuler keagamaan diwajibkan bagi seluruh siswa sebagai wujud implementasi kurikulum sekolah. pengauatan pendidikan karakter siswa melalui kegiatan ekstrakurikuler keagamaan dilakukan dengan cara belajar sambal mentadaburi ayat-ayat al-qur’an menikmati nikmatnya ibadah diantara kegiatan tersebut ialah, halaqah qur’an, sholat dhuha, muhadarah, sholat wajib berjama’ah. 2) pelaksanaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler keagamaan di SMA Hasanka Palangka Raya yaitu adanya perencanaan jadual secara rutin selama satu minggu. Upaya yang dilaksanakan melalui; a) pendekatan pemahaman nilai dan moral kognitif. b) melalui keteladanan guru-guru sebagai contoh yang diikuti siswa dalam hal beribadah wajib dan ibadah sunah, c) melalui pembiasaan mulai dari hal yang kecil, seperti mengucap salam, berdo’a sebelum memulai pembelajaran.
ABSTRACT
Strengthening character education in students is very important. Hasanka Palangka Raya High School has a program to strengthen student character education through religious extracurricular activities. According to one teacher at Hasanka Palangka Raya high school, there has been a change in the character of students after religious extracurricular activities were required. Students become more disciplined when they come to school, behave more politely, and are responsible.
The formulation of the research problems are: 1) What are the religious extracurricular activities at SMA Hasanka Palangka Raya, and 2) How are the implementation of religious extracurricular activities through strengthening the character education of students at SMA Hasanka Palangka Raya. This study aims to reveal the following: 1) Analyzing religious extracurricular activities at Hasanka Palangka Raya High School, and 2) Describing the implementation of religious extracurricular activities through strengthening student character education at Hasanka Palangka Raya High School.
This research uses a qualitative type, which is explored using the following techniques: observation of what are the activities and implementation of religious extracurricular activities; in-depth interview techniques to research subjects, namely homeroom teachers of grades X, XI and XII, PAI teachers, Kepondokan teachers, as well as interviews with research informants namely the principal, vice principal of the curriculum section, and 5 students in class XI, XII; and using documentation techniques. Validation of the data using source triangulation techniques.
The results showed that: 1) religious extracurricular activities at SMA Hasanka Palangka Raya were perfectly planned and programmed by the principal and homeroom teacher and teacher. Religious extracurricular activities are mandatory for all students as a form of implementing the school curriculum. Strengthening student character education through religious extracurricular activities is carried out by learning while mentadaburi verses of the Qur'an enjoying the pleasures of worship among these activities, namely, halaqah qur'an, dhuha prayer, muhadara, obligatory prayers in congregation. 2) the implementation of religious extracurricular activities at SMA Hasanka Palangka Raya, namely the existence of regular schedule planning for one week. Efforts are carried out through; a) cognitive value and moral understanding approach. b) through the example of teachers as examples that students follow in terms of compulsory worship and sunnah worship, c) through habituation starting from small things, such as saying greetings, praying before starting learning.
