Abstract

Pondok pesantren sebagai salah satu lembaga pendidikan tertua yang dinilai banyak berhasil dalam rangka mendidik karakter santrinya yang terdeskripsikan dalam implementasi, metode serta faktor yang mempengaruhi penguatan pendidikan karakter di Pondok Pesantren Hidayatul Insan Kota Palangka Raya.

Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, tempat penelitian adalah Pondok Pesantren Hidayatul Insan Kota Palangka Raya. Subjek penelitian ini seorang ustaz dan seorang ustazah. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknik pengabsahan data adalah dengan menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik.

Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa : 1) Implementasi penguatan pendidikan karakter di Pondok Pesantren Hidayatul Insan Kota Palangka Raya adalah karakter religius, integritas, nasionalis, mandiri dan gotong royong sudah diimplementasikan di Pondok Pesantren Hidayatul Insan Kota Palangka Raya dalam berbagai kegiatan pondok pesantren 2) Metode penguatan pendidikan karakter di Pondok Pesantren Hidayatul Insan Kota Palangka Raya adalah metode Mau’izah atau nasehat, metode uswah atau keteladanan dan metode pembiasaan. 3) Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi penguatan pendidikan karakter di Pondok Pesantren Hidayatul Insan Kota Palangka Raya yaitu faktor naluri atau insting, faktor kebiasaan, faktor kemauan, faktor pendidikan dan faktor lingkungan.

ABSTRACT

Islamic boarding school as one of the oldest educational institutions which is considered successful in educating the character of its students is described in the implementation, methods and factors that influence the strengthening of character education at the Hidayatul Insan Islamic Boarding School in Palangka Raya.

This study uses a descriptive qualitative research method, the place of research is the Hidayatul Insan Islamic Boarding School Palangka Raya. The subject of this research is an ustaz and an ustazah. The data were collected with observation, interview and documentation. Data validation technique is to use source triangulation and technical triangulation.

The results of this study indicate that: 1) The implementation of strengthening character education at the Hidayatul Insan Islamic Boarding School in Palangka Raya were religious, integrity, nationalist, independent and mutual cooperation characters have been implemented at the Hidayatul Insan Islamic Boarding School in Palangka Raya in various boarding school activities 2) Methods Strengthening character education at the Hidayatul Insan Islamic Boarding School in Palangka Raya City is the Mau'izah method or advice, the uswah or example and the habituation 3) The factors that influence the strengthening of character education at the Hidayatul Insan Islamic Boarding School in Palangka Raya are instinct, habit, willingness, educational and environmental.
