Abstract
Perkembangan perbankan yang sangat pesat di Kotawaringin Timur menjadikan semua lembaga keuangan bersaing dengan ketat. Untuk menghadapi persaingan tersebut maka BMT Kube Sejahtera Unit 068 Sampit menggunakan strategi personal selling dan edukasi untuk meningkatkan jumlah nasabahnya, meski masih terbilang lokal akan tetapi BMT Kube Sejahtera cukup eksis dibandingkan lembaga keuangan syariah lainnya di Kota Sampit.
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang dilaksanakan di BMT Kube Sejahtera Unit 068 Sampit, subjek penelitian adalah empat karyawan bidang marketing dan pendamping. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi, teknik pengabsahan data dengan ketekunan pengamatan dan teknik triangulasi yaitu triangulasi sumber dan teori, kemudian teknik analisis data yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi data.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Mekanisme implementasi personal selling dan edukasi sebagai upaya peningkatan jumlah nasabah di BMT Kube Sejahtera mengacu pada tahapan personal selling, yaitu; (a) Pencarian dan identifikasi, (b) Pra-pendekatan, (c) Pendekatan, (d) Presentasi produk, (e) Mengatasi kendala, (f) Menutup penjualan, adapun edukasi mengacu kepada rancangan model edukasi, yaitu; (a) Pondasi atau dasar, (b) Organisasi, (c) Pelaksanaan, (d) Evaluasi, dengan demikian personal selling dan edukasi sebagai bentuk konkrit untuk pendekatan kepada nasabah potensial terutama dalam upaya meningkatkan jumlah nasabah. 2) Dampak implementasi personal selling dan edukasi terhadap minat menjadi nasabah di BMT Kube Sejahtera dikatakan sesuai dengan memberikan dampak positif sehingga penerapannya menjadi efektif dan efisien dalam meningkatkan minat nasabah terhadap BMT Kube Sejahtera Unit 068 Sampit.
ABSTRACT
The very rapid development of banking in East Kotawaringin Timur has made all financial institutions compete fiercely. To face this competition, BMT Kube Sejahtera Unit 068 Sampit uses personal selling and education strategies to incrase the number of its customers, although it is still relatively local, BMT Kube Sejahtera is quite present compared to other Islamic financial institutions in Sampit City.
This research is a qualitative research conducted at BMT Kube Sejahtera Unit 068 Sampit, the research subjects are four employees in the field of marketing and assitants. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews and documentation, data validation techniques with persistence of observation and triangulation techniques, namely source and theory triangulation, then data analysis techniques, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and data verification.
The results showed that 1) the mechanism for implementing personal selling and educations as an effort to incrase the number of customers at BMT Kube Sejahtera refers to the stages of personal selling, namely; (a) Search and identifications, (b) Pre-approach, (c) Approach, (d) Product presentation, (e) Overcoming obstacles, (f) Closing sales, while education refers to the educational model design, namely; (a) Foundation or basis, (b) Organization, (c) Implementation, (d) Evaluation, thus personal selling and education as a concrete form of approach to potential customers, especially in an effort to incrase the number of customers. 2) The impact of the implementation of personal selling and education on the interest in becoming a customer at BMT Kube Sejahtera is said to be in accordance with providing a positive impact so that the implementation becomes effective and efficient in increasing customer interest in BMT Kube Sejahtera Unit 068 Sampit.
