Abstract
Penelitian ini berlatar belakang dari karyawan funding officer BSI KC Palangka Raya 3 yang memiliki disiplin ilmu diluar Perbankan Syariah dan Ekonomi Syariah, namun setelah dilihat dari pengetahuan mereka tentang produk Perbankan Syariah dapat dikatakan baik. Keberhasilan ini tentu adanya peran dari seorang Branch Manager BSI KC Palangka Raya 3 dengan mengimplementasikan strategi pengembangan pengetahuan produk terhadap karyawan funding officer yang ada di bank tersebut. Beranjak dari hal di atas, maka peneliti melakukan penelitian lebih lanjut mengenai hal ini. Peneliti melakukan indentifikasi rumusan masalah sebagai berikut (1) Bagaimana implementasi strategi Branch Manager BSI KC Palangka Raya 3 dalam mengembangkan pengetahuan produk Perbankan Syariah pada karyawan funding officer (2) Bagaimana kendala implementasi strategi Branch Manager BSI KC Palangka Raya 3 dalam mengembangkan pengetahuan produk Perbankan Syariah pada karyawan funding officer.
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah Branch Manager BSI KC Palangka Raya 3 dan sebagai informan dua orang karyawan funding officer dan dua nasabah BSI KC Palangka Raya 3. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Pengabsahan data menggunakan teknik triangulasi dengan sumber. Adapun analisis menggunakan empat alur, yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajiaan data dan menarik kesimpulan.
Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa (1) Branch Manager BSI KC Palangka Raya 3 dalam mengembangkan pengetahuan produk Perbankan Syariah karyawan funding officer mengaplikasikan tiga implementasi strategi yaitu program (core training, briefing, senioritas, functional training dan training internal), mempersiapkan anggaran dan mengevaluasi seluruh program yang telah dan akan dilaksanakan (2) kendala implementasi strategi yang dialami seorang Branch Manager BSI KC Palangka Raya 3 dalam melaksanakan program yang ada adalah kurangnya sumber daya manusia atau karyawan yang memiliki kapasitas khusus dibidang Perbankan Syariah atau Ekonomi Syariah.
ABSTRACK
This research is based on the background of the funding officer of BSI KC Palangka Raya 3 employees who have disciplines outside of Islamic Banking and Islamic Economics, but after seeing their knowledge of Islamic banking products it can be said to be good. This success is of course the role of a Branch Manager of BSI KC Palangka Raya 3 by implementing a product knowledge development strategy for funding officer employees at the bank. Moving on from the above, the researchers conducted further research on this matter. Researchers identified the problem formulations as follows (1) How to implement the strategy of the Branch Manager of BSI KC Palangka Raya 3 in developing knowledge of Islamic Banking products for funding officer employees (2) What are the obstacles in implementing the strategy of the Branch Manager BSI KC Palangka Raya 3 in developing knowledge of Islamic Banking products funding officer employees.
This research is a field research using qualitative research methods. The subjects of this study were the Branch Manager of BSI KC Palangka Raya 3 and as informants, two funding officers and two customers of BSI KC Palangka Raya 3. The data collection techniques in this study used observation, interview and documentation techniques. Data validation used triangulation techniques with sources. The analysis uses four lines, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions.
The results showed that (1) Branch Manager of BSI KC Palangka Raya 3 in developing Islamic banking product knowledge, funding officer employees applied three strategy implementations, namely programs (core training, briefing, seniority, functional training and internal training), preparing budgets and evaluating all programs. what has been and will be implemented (2) the problem implementation strategy experienced by a Branch Manager of BSI KC Palangka Raya 3 in implementing existing programs is the lack of human resources or employees who have special capacities in the field of Sharia Banking or Sharia Economics.
