Abstract

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas mengenai penyelenggaraan walīmatul ‘urs pada masa Covid-19 di Kota Palangka Raya. Penelitian ini dilakukan kepada mempelai dan ustadz dengan pokok masalah: (1) penyelenggaraan walīmatul ‘urs pada masa Covid-19 di Kota Palangka Raya, (2) respon ustadz mengenai penyelenggaraan walīmatul ‘urs pada masa Covid-19 di Kota Palangka Raya, serta (3) argumentasi hukum dari respon ustadz tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif sosio-legal, objek penelitian adalah respon, argumentasi atau pendapat ustadz tentang permasalahan penyelenggaraan walīmatul ‘urs pada masa pandemi Covid-19 di Kota Palangka Raya. Sementara subjek penelitian adalah ustadz sebagai tokoh agama di masyarakat dalam menyikapi perbedaan pandangan dalam permasalahan tersebut dengan kriteria: ustadz lulusan pondok (tidak melanjutkan kuliah), ustadz lulusan Timur Tengah (Yaman, Makkah/Madinah, Kairo), ustadz lulusan IAIN Palangka Raya, dan ustadz yang bersedia menjadi subjek penelitian. Metode pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Validasi data dibuktikan dengan teknik triangulasi sumber, lalu dianalisis melalui kerangka teoretik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penyelenggaraan walīmatul ‘urs pada masa Covid-19 membuat beberapa mempelai yang kecewa atas aturan yang telah dibuat dalam protokol kesehatan. Akan tetapi karena kondisi maka mau tidak mau mempelai harus menaati aturan tersebut. Respon dari ustadz pun mendukung adanya aturan tersebut, walaupun sebagian ustadz memberikan dukungan dengan catatan. Namun aturan tersebut dibuat untuk meminimalisir terjadinya penyebaran virus Covid-19 yang semakin meningkat dalam beberapa bulan. Maka hasil dari analisis telah diketahui bahwa respon dari ustadz adalah mendukung adanya aturan tersebut disebabkan oleh kondisi darurat.

ABSTRACT

This research discusses the implementation of walīmatul ‘urs during the Covid-19 period in Palangka Raya City. This research was conducted to the bride and ustadz with the subject matter: (1) the implementation of walīmatul ‘urs during the Covid-19 period in Palangka Raya City, (2) the ustadz response regarding the implementation of walīmatul ‘urs during the Covid-19 period in Palangka Raya City, as well as (3) legal arguments of the ustadz response. This study uses a qualitative socio-legal approach, the object of the study is the response, argument or opinion of ustadz about the problem of the implementation of walīmatul ‘urs during the Covid-19 pandemic in Palangka Raya City. While the subject of the study is ustadz as a religious figure in the community in addressing differences of views in the problem with criteria: ustadz graduates of huts (not continuing college), ustadz graduates of the Middle East (Yemen, Makkah / Medina, Cairo), ustadz graduates of IAIN Palangka Raya, and ustadz who are willing to be the subject of research. Methods of data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data validation is evidenced by the source triangulation technique, then analyzed through the theoretical framework. The results showed that the implementation of walīmatul ‘urs during the Covid-19 period made some brides disappointed by the rules that had been made in the health protocol. However, because of the conditions, inevitably the bride and groom must obey the rules. The response from ustadz also supported the existence of the rule, although some ustadz provided support with a note. But the rule was made to minimize the spread of the Covid-19 virus which is increasing in a few months. So the results of the analysis have been known that the response of ustadz is to support the existence of the rule caused by an emergency.
