Abstract

Abstract

Reward dan punishment sangat penting untuk meningkatkan kinerja karyawan. Karena jika reward dan punishment yang diberikan tepat maka akan meningkatkan kinerja karyawan. Meski sudah menerapkan sistem reward dan punishment dilapangan menunjukkan kinerja karyawan mengalami penurunan dan kurang maksimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh reward dan punishment secara parsial dan simultan terhadap kinerja karyawan di Bank Syariah Indonesia KC Palangka Raya 1.

Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini berjumlah 34 karyawan. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan sampel jenuh, yaitu dengan menggambil seluruh populasi sebagai sampel yaitu sebanyak 34 responden. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan untuk menjawab rumusan masalah menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda dengan menggunakan program SPSS versi 25.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan reward tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan sebesar -4,3%, dengan nilai thitung sebesar -0,717 dan tingkat probabilitas signifikan 0,479 < 0,05. Punishment berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan sebesar 65%, dengan nilai thitung variabel punishment sebesar 5,846 dengan tingkat nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Reward dan punishment secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan sebesar 61%, dengan nilai Fhitung sebesar 24,232, dan nilai signifikan sebesar 0,000 < 0,05.

ABSTRACT

Reward and punishment are very important to improve employee performance. Because if the rewards and punishments are given properly, it will improve employee performance. Even though it has implemented a reward and punishment system in the field, it showed that employee performance has decreased and is less than optimal. This study aims to determine the effect of partial and simultaneous reward and punishment on employee performance at Bank Syariah Indonesia KC Palangka Raya 1.

The type of research that used in this research is quantitative method. The population of this study were 34 employees. In this study using a saturated sample, which is taking the entire population as a sample, there are 34 respondents as the sample. The data analysis technique used to answer the research problem used multiple linear regression analysis using the SPSS version 25 program.

The results showed that reward had no significant effect on employee performance by -4.3%, with a t-value of -0.717 and a significant probability level of 0.479 <0.05. Punishment has a significant effect on employee performance by 65%, with a tcount value of the punishment variable of 5.846 with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. Reward and punishment simultaneously had a significant effect on employee performance by 61%, with an Fcount value of 24.232, and a significant value of 0.000 <0.05.
