Abstract

ABSTRAKS

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) Pengelolaan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen pada pokok bahasan tekanan (2) Ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa setelah penerapan metode pembelajaran eksperimen pada pokok bahasan tekanan (3) Respon siswa setelah menggunakan metode pembelajaran eksperimen pada pokok bahasan tekanan.

Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas VIII semester II MTsN 2 Palangka Raya Tahun Ajaran 2014/2015 yang terdiri dari 8 kelas, sampel yaitu Kelas VIII-D MTsN II Palangka Raya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar pengelolaan pembelajaran, tes hasil belajar kognitif siswa yaitu instrument tes berjumlah 35 butir soal pilihan ganda Dan angket respon siswa.

Hasil penelitian diperoleh: (1) Penilaian pengelolaan pembelajaran fisika dengan metode eksperimen memiliki nilai rata-rata 78,57% kategori cukup baik. (2) Ketuntasan hasil belajar kognitif secara individu didapat 21 siswa yang tuntas dan 16 siswa tidak tuntas. Secara klasikal pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen tidak tuntas, karena hanya 56,76% siswa tuntas sehingga belum memenuhi kriteria ketuntasan klasikal ≥ 85%. TPK yang tuntas sebanyak 22 (62,86%) TPK dan 13 (37,14%) TPK tidak tuntas, karena belum mencapai KKM yang ditetapkan sekolah ≥ 65%. (3) Respon siswa 89,2% menyatakan senang selama mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran pada materi tekanan, 94,6% menyatakan bermanfaat dalam mempelajari materi tekanan, 83,8% menyatakan jelas pada bimbingan guru selama kegiatan belajar dan mengajar.

ABSTRACT

The study is intended to know: (1) The management of learning using the experimental method on the subject of pressure (2) Completeness of student learning outcomes after the implementation of the experimental teaching methods in the subject of pressure (3) The response of the students after teaching methods of experiments on the subject of pressure.

Population in this research is all students of VIII grade second half semester MTsN 2 Palangka Raya academic year 2014/2015 with consisting of 8 classes, the sample is students of class VIII-D MTsN 2 Palangka Raya. This research uses descriptive quantitative approach. The instruments were used sheets of managing learning, student achievement test cognitive that the test instrument amounted to 35 multiple choice items and the student questionnaire responses.

The results were obtained: (1) Assessment of learning management physics with exsperimental method has an average of 78,57 good enough category. (2) The cognitive learning completeness individually acquired 21 students who completed and 16 students do not complete. Classically learning by using the experimental method is not complete, since only 56,76 % of students completed thus not meet the criteria of classical completeness ≥ 85%. TPK were completed by 22 (62,86%) TPK and 13 (37,14%) TPK incomplete, because it has not reached the set KKM school ≥ 65%. (3) Response 89,2% of students expressed pleasure for participating in learning activities on the material pressure, 94,6% said useful in studying the material pressure, 83,3% stated clearly in the guidance of teachers for teaching and learning.
