Abstract

Jual beli identik dengan pertukaran uang dan barang, akan tetapi dalam jual beli juga ada pertukaran barang dengan barang yaitu barter. Barter dilakukan karena pada saat itu, belum ada alat tukar. Namun, kini ada transaksi sejenis barter yaitu tukar tambah. Sedikit berbeda dengan barter, tukar tambah pasti adanya tambahan menggunakan alat tukar baik dari pihak yang satu atau yang lain. Salah satu praktik tukar tambah yang terjadi pada saat ini adalah jual beli motor dengan sistem tukar tambah. Akan tetapi dalam praktiknya, penetapan harga atau menaksir harga dalam tukar tambah harus sesuai dengan syariat Islam. Penelitian ini berfokus pada (1) Mekanisme penetapan harga jual beli motor dengan sistem tukar tambah pada showroom motor di kota Palangka Raya. (2) Mekanisme penetapan harga jual beli motor dengan sistem tukar tambah pada showroom motor di kota Palangka Raya perspektif ekonomi syariah.

Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian lapangan atau field research dan pendekatan penelitian adalah pendekatan kontekstual ekonomi syariah. Subjek penelitian adalah pemilik showroom motor yang ada di kecamatan Jekan Raya kota Palangka Raya. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Pengabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber. Analisis menggunakan empat komponen; yaitu pengumpulan data, merangkum data, penyajian data, dan menarik kesimpulan.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadinya jual beli motor dengan sistem tukar tambah adalah karena: (1) pembeli memerlukan dana, dia menjual motor miliknya dan mencari motor yang lebih murah agar mendapat dana dari tambahan showroom; (2) pembeli mencari motor yang lebih bagus, dia menjual motor yang lama dengan menukarkan motor yang lebih bagus dan baru dengan konsekuensi dia menambah harga. Mekanisme penetapan harga yang dilakukan oleh pemilik showroom terdapat beberapa pertimbangan meliputi kondisi motor, surat-menyurat, keseimbangan permintaan dan penawaran terhadap motor, harga pasaran, dari mana motor berasal, dan biaya perbaikan. Transaksi jual beli motor dengan sistem tukar tambah tidak dilarang dalam Islam, karena motor tidak termasuk barang ribawi yang dilarang untuk diperjualbelikan dengan sistem tukar tambah. Mekanisme penetapan harga jual beli motor dengan sistem tukar tambah pada showroom motor di kota Palangka Raya perspektif ekonomi syariah adalah pemilik showroom belum memenuhi nilai kejujuran, telah melaksanakan amanah dengan baik, telah menerapkan prinsip ketuhanan, telah mempraktikkan empat sifat Nabi, dan telah menerapkan sifat tanggung jawab dalam menetapkan harga.

ABSTRACT

Buying and selling is identical to the exchange of money and goods, but in buying and selling there is also an exchange of goods with goods, namely barter. Bartering was done because at that time, there was no medium of exchange. However, now there is a kind of barter transaction, namely trade-in. Slightly different from barter, exchange plus there must be additional use of the medium of exchange from one party or another. One practice of trade-in that occurs at this time is the sale and purchase of motorbikes with an exchange system. However, in practice, setting prices or estimating prices in exchange must be in accordance with Islamic law. This study focuses on (1) the mechanism of determining the buying and selling prices of motorbikes with an exchange-added system in the motor showroom in the city of Palangka Raya. (2) The mechanism of determining the buying and selling prices of motorcycles with an exchange system in the motor showroom in the city of Palangka Raya in the perspective of Islamic economics.

This research used the type of field research and field research approaches is contextual approaches to Islamic economics. The subject of the research was the owner of a motorized showroom in Jekan Raya sub-district of Palangka Raya city. Data collection techniques was done by observation, interview and documentation. Data validation used source triangulation. The analysis uses four components; namely collecting data, summarizing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions.

The results showed that the sale and purchase of motorbikes with an exchange rate system was because: (1) the buyer needed funds, he sold his motorbike and looked for a cheaper motorbike in order to obtain funds from an additional showroom; (2) the buyer was looking for a better motorbike, he sold the old motorbike by exchanging a better and new motorbike with the consequence that he adds to the price. The pricing mechanism carried out by the showroom owner had several considerations including the condition of the motor, correspondence, the balance of demand and supply for the motor, the market price, where the motor comes from, and the cost of repairs. Buying and selling motorcycles with an exchange system were not prohibited in Islam, because motorcycles are not included in usury goods which are prohibited from being traded on an exchange system. The mechanism of determining the buying and selling prices of motorbikes with an exchange system in motor showrooms in the city of Palangka Raya Sharia economic perspective is the owner of the showroom has not met the value of honesty, had carried out the mandate well, has applied the principle of divinity, has practiced four traits of the Prophet, and has applied the nature of responsibility responsible for setting prices.
