Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana keaktifan setelah menggunakan model kooperatif tipe jigsaw, untuk mengetahui bagaimana hasil belajar setelah menggunakan model kooperatif tipe jigsaw dan untuk mendeskripsikan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran selama menggunakan model kooperatif tipe jigsaw pada materi interaksi mahluk hidup dengan lingkungannya kelas VII di MTs Islamyah.

Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian quasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu nonequivalent control group desain. Insterument yang digunakan adalah lembar keaktifan dan tes hasil belajar kongnitif berbentuk pilihan ganda 20 soal. Populasi penelitian adalah kelas VII MTs Islamiyah palangkaraya dan sampel yang digunakan VII A sebagai kelas control dan VII B sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan jumlah siswa perkelas yaitu 28 orang.

Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa; (1) Terdapat pengaruh model kooperatif tipe jigsaw terhadap keaktifan peserta didik hal ini menunjukan keaktifan yang tergolong tinggi dengan rata-rata nilai persentase keaktifan kelas eksperimen 75% dan kelas control 37%; (2) Terdapat pengaruh model kooperatif tipe jigsaw terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik tergolong tinggi dengan rata-rata nilai pretes 35,18 dan postes 81,07 pada kelas eksperimen (3) Keterlaksanaan model kooperatif tipe jigsaw menunjukan bahwa langkah-langkah sudah berjalan dengan semestinya dan terbukti bahwa model kooperatiftipe jigsaw berpengaruh terhadap keaktifan dan hasil belajar dan keaktifan siswa dilihat dari lembar keterterapan.

ABSTRACT

This study aims to find out how active it is after using a jigsaw cooperative model, to find out how learning outcomes after using a jigsaw cooperative model and to describe the implementation of learning while using a jigsaw cooperative model on the interaction of living things with the environment of class VII in MTs Islamyah.

This study uses a quantitative approach to the type of quasi-experimental research with the research design used is nonequivalent control group design. The instrument used was the activity sheet and the test results of the study were in the form of multiple choice 20 questions. The study population was class VII MTs Islamiyah Palangkaraya and the sample used VII A as a control class and VII B as an experimental class with a class of 28 students.

The results showed that; (1) There is an effect of the type of jigsaw cooperative model on the activeness of students this shows a relatively high level of activity with an average percentage value of 75% of the experimental class and 37% of the control class; (2) There is an influence of a jigsaw cooperative model on student learning outcomes classified as high with an average pretest score of 35.18 and post-test 81.07 in the experimental class (3) The implementation of the jigsaw type cooperative model shows that the steps are proceeding properly and it is proven that the cooperative model of jigsaw type influences the activeness and learning outcomes and student activeness seen from the applicability sheet.
