Abstract
Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertolak dari tidak tersedianya buku penunjang kegiatan praktikum IPA sebagai pedoman melakukan kegiatan praktikum pada materi interaksi makhluk hidup dengan lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui validitas dan kepraktisan penuntun praktikum materi interaksi makhluk hidup dengan lingkungan berbasis inkuiri terbimbing terhadap keterampilan proses sains kelas VII MTs Darul Amin Palangka Raya.
Jenis penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D). Model pengembangan yang digunakan yaitu ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implement dan Evaluation). Namun pada penelitian ini hanya terdiri atas 4 tahap yakni tahap analisis, tahap desain, tahap pengembangan dan tahap evaluasi sedangkan pada tahap implementasi tidak dilakukan. Hal ini dikarenakan penuntun praktikum yang dikembangkan hanya diujicobakan pada ujicoba skala kecil tidak sampai pada uji coba skala besar. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu angket analisis kebutuhan peserta didik, angket wawancara guru, angket validasi ahli materi dan media, angket validasi peserta didik, angket respon peserta didik, lembar keterterapan inkuiri terbimbing dan soal kognitif peserta didik materi interaksi makhluk hidup dengan lingkungan. Selanjutnya, data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif dari setiap validator dan peserta didik.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan penuntun praktikum materi interaksi makhluk hidup dengan lingkungan berbasis inkuiri terbimbing terhadap keterampilan proses sains kelas VII MTs Darul Amin Palangka Raya sangat baik. Penuntun praktikum yang dikembangkan berisi 3 topik praktikum tentang materi interaksi makhluk hidup dengan lingkungan. Kegiatan praktikum didesain sesuai dengan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing serta dilengkapi dengan aktivitas keterampilan proses sains. Penuntun praktikum ini juga ditambahkan pengetahuan umum tentang lingkungan untuk menambah wawasan peserta didik mengenai materi interaksi makhluk hidup dengan lingkungan. Penuntun praktikum yang dikembangkan mendapatkan nilai kevalidan dari pakar/ahli materi sangat valid dengan presentase 83,19% sedangkan penilaian ahli media sangat valid dengan presentase 78%. Penilaian kevalidan juga didapatkan dari peserta didik dengan kriteria sangat valid 81,20%. Nilai kepraktisan dihasilkan presentase sekitar 83,00% dengan kriteria sangat baik. Adapun data hasil belajar peserta didik melalui pretest-postest setelah dilakukan uji coba skala kecil menunjukkan rata-rata n-Gain 0,29 dengan kategori rendah.
ABSTRACT
This research departs from the unavailability of books supporting the practical activities of science as a guide to conduct practical activities on the interaction of living things with the environment. This study aims to determine validity and practically of guilding practicum interaction of living things with guided inquiry- based environments on the science process skills at class VII MTs Darul Amin in Palangka Raya.
This type of research is Research and Development (R&D). The development used is ADDIE (Anlysis, Design, Development, Implement and Evaluation). However, this study only consists of 4 stages, namely analysis stage, design stage, development stage and evaluation stage while the implementation phase was not carried out. Because practicum guides that were developed only tested on small-scale trial aand did not arrive at large scale trial. The instruments used analysis questionnaire for students, questionnaire interview for teacher, the material and media expert validation questionnaire, the students’ validation questionnaire, the students’ respon questionnaire, the science process skill sheet (KPS), the guided inquiry performance sheet and the cognitive questions of student’ material interactions with living environments. Next, the data obtained were analyzed quantitatively and summatively from each validator and students.
The results showed that the development of practical guidance guides on the interaction of living things with the environment. Practical activities are designed according to the guided inquiry learning model and complemented by science proces skills activities. This practical guide also adds general knowledge about the environment to increase student insight about the material interaction of living things with the environment. The guided inquiry-based environment towards the science process skills at class VII MTs Darul Amin Palangka Raya is very good. The practicum guide depeloved contains 3 practicum topics about the material interaction The results of science process skills of students both with a percentage of 69, 72%. The practicum guide that was developed received validity from experts/material experts with a very valid percentage of 83,19% while the assessment of media experts was very valid with a percentage of 78%. Validity assessment was also obtained from students with very valid criteria 81,20%. The practicality value obtained resulted in a percentage of around 83,00% with very good criteria. The data of learning outcomes of students trough the pretest-postest after a small-scale trial showed an average of n-gain 0,29 with a low category.
