Abstract

Abstract

The increasing number of population raises the community's need for housing also increases. Unreachable home prices cause many low-income people do not yet have a decent place to live. The government has a role to play in helping the community to prosper by providing subsidized housing. The formulation of the problem in this study is: what are the procedures and mechanism for the distribution of subsidized houses for MBR ?, how accurate is the distribution of subsidized houses for MBR? The goal is to find out the distribution system and accuracy of the target recipient of subsidized housing.

This research is a field research using descriptive qualitative research methods. The subjects in this study were the developers of PT. Graha Kayu Manis, Bank BTN, BNI, BRI Syariah, and subsidized home customers. Data collection techniques in this study using (1) observation, (2) interviews, (3) documentation. While the data validation technique uses triangulation of source techniques, namely collecting data and similar information from a variety of different sources. The data collection techniques used by researchers are (1) Data Collection, (2) Data Reduction, (3) Data Display.

The results showed that the procedure for distributing subsidized houses and the accuracy of the target distribution of subsidized houses are: (1) there are some differences regarding the determination of government requirements with the requirements set by the developer and the Bank, as well as mechanisms and procedures that are not in accordance with applicable regulations. (2) The subsidized housing distribution program provided by the government to the MBR is already right on the target for some low-income customers, who do not yet have a house, and are domiciled in Palangka Raya. Inaccurate targeting for beneficiaries based on type of work, domicile outside Palangka Raya, owning a house and misusing subsidized houses.
