Abstract
The standard instrument identifying students' creativity in solving mathematical problems is still rarely used as a reference. One of the most important things an instrument must have is to match the objectives which will be measured and meet the validity and reliability. This research aims to illustrate the design of a valid and reliable instrument to identify students' creativity in solving mathematical problems. This type of research is descriptive research.
The research object is an instrument designed by researchers. Data is obtained in the form of written statements and scores of instrument validators. The instrument assessment was conducted by three validators consisting of three lecturers. Descriptive statistics were used for data analysis. The results are acquired instruments that meet the
requirements of validity and reliability to identify students' creativity in solving mathematical problems.
