Abstract

Kota Palangka Raya memiliki masyarakat mayoritas beragama Islam. Dengan adanya power dari jumlah mayoritas ini seharusnya memiliki ciri khas nilai-nilai Islami. Wisata religi merupakan wisata yang bernuansa keagamaan. Wisata religi yang diangkat peneliti adalah Masjid Raya Darussalam yang ingin mengembangkan wisata religi di dalamnya. Karena objek wisata religi ini berada di kawasan Islamic Center yang dimana sebagai pusat kegiatan Islam maka dibuatlah wisata religi untuk bisa menarik wisatawan domestik maupun manca negara. melihat dari sisi sejarahnya bahwa Islamic Center ini yang dibangun melalui Yayasan Pusat Pengembangan Islam yang diketuai oleh H. Masran Masjuhur, bertujuan agar tepat ini menjadi pusat kegiatan keagamaan. Maka dari itu penulis berfokus kepada bagaimana strategi pengembangan objek wisata religi dan apa faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam pengembangan objek wisata religi ini.

Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian lapangan atau field research dan pendekatan penelitian adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian adalah pengurus masjid Raya Darussalam yang berjumlah empat orang dan informannya adalah Dinas Pariwisata kota yaitu bidang pengembangan objek wisata dan sumber daya manusia, dan Ketua MUI Kota Palangka Raya dan Komisi Fatwa MUI Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah, sehingga berjumlah tiga orang untuk informan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Pengabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber. Analisis menggunakan empat komponen yaitu pengumpulan data, merangkum data, penyajian data dan menarik kesimpulan.

Hasil penelitian yang didapat adalah : 1) Strategi pengembangan objek Wisata Religi Masjid Raya Darussalam Kota Palangka Raya masih dalam tahap tatanan proses. Dalam tatanan proses ada beberapa daya tarik yang ditawarkan dalam pengembangan objek wisata religi ini yaitu Tower Darussalam, aula yang difungsikan sebagai tempat kegiatan-kegiatan dan acara hari besar peringatan agama Islam, dan komplek Islamic Center, sebagai icon objek wisata religi. Akan tetapi semuanya ini masih tahap tatanan proses karena ada beberapa kendala dalam menjalankannya. 2) Faktor pendukung dalam pengembangan objek wisata ini yaitu Pengurus Masjid, Minimarket Darussalam, Koperasi Syariah, Taman Luas, Lembaga pendidikan, Aula Serbaguna Darussalam, Tower Masjid Raya Darussalam, Kawasan Islamic Center, Masjid Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah. Selanjutnya dalam faktor penghambat yang dihadapi adalah wabah Covid yang terjadi sekarang ini, dan kurangnya perhatian dan interaksi Masyarakat dan mahasiswa sekitar terhadap Masjid Raya Darussalam, dan infrastruktur yang belum dioptimalkan berjalan.

ABSTRACT

Palangka Raya City has a society of majority Islamic religion.. With the power of the majority, this should have the characteristics of Islamic values. Religious tourism is tourism with religious nuances. The religious tourism that was appointed by the researcher is the Darussalam Grand Mosque which wants to develop religious tourism in it. Because this religious tourism object is located in the Islamic Center area, which is the center of Islamic activity, religious tourism is made to attract domestic and foreign tourists. From its historical perspective, the Islamic Center which was built through the Islamic Development Center Foundation chaired by H. Masran Masjuhur, aims to make it the center of religious activities. Therefore the writer focuses on how the strategy for developing religious tourism objects and what are the supporting and inhibiting factors in the development of this religious tourism object.

This research uses the type of field research or field research and the research approach is descriptive qualitative. The research subjects were four members of the Raya Darussalam mosque and the informants were the City Tourism Office, namely the development of tourism objects and human resources, and the Chairperson of the Palangka Raya City MUI and the Central Kalimantan MUI Fatwa Commission so that there were three informants. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation. Data validation used source triangulation. The analysis uses four components, namely data collection, summarizing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions.

The results obtained are: 1) The strategy of developing the Religious Tourism object of the Darussalam Raya Mosque in Palangka Raya City is still in the process of structuring. In the process structure, there are several attractions offered in the development of this religious tourism object, namely the Darussalam Tower, a hall that functions as a place for activities and events for the anniversary of the Islamic religion, and the Islamic Center complex, as an icon for religious tourism objects. However, all of this is still at the stage of the process structure because there are several obstacles in carrying it out. 2) Supporting factors in the development of this tourist attraction are the Management of the Mosque, Minimarket Darussalam, Sharia Cooperative, Area Park, Educational Institution, Darussalam Multipurpose Hall, Tower Masjid Raya Darussalam, Islamic Center Area, Mosque of Central Borneo. Furthermore, the inhibiting factors faced are the current COVID outbreak, and the lack of attention and interaction between the local community and students towards the Darussalam Great Mosque, and infrastructure that has not been optimized yet.
