Abstract

Ampas tahu merupakan hasil samping dalam proses pembuatan tahu yang berbentuk padat dan diperoleh dari bubur kedelai yang diperas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian ampas tahu sebagai suplemen protein pakan alternatif terhadap pertambahan berat badan Mencit (Mus musculus).
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen, dan rancangan percobaan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK). Adapun Perlakuan pada penelitian ini disusun dalam 9 taraf konsentrasi dengan menggunakan 3 kali ulangan, yaitu P0 = 0% (kontrol), P1 = 10%, P2 = 20%, P3 = 30%, P4 = 40%, P5 = 50%, P6 = 60%, P7 = 70%, dan P8 = 80%. Objek yang digunakan adalah Mencit (Mus musculus) betina yang berumur dari 4 - 5 minggu, berat badan 10 - 15 gr. Teknik Analisis data menggunakan Analisis Varians (ANAVA), dan dilanjutkan dengan uji Beda Jarak Nyata Duncan (BJND) jika terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan. Aplikasi penghitungan Analisis data yang digunakan adalah SPSS-15.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkanpada Fhitung kelompok dari waktu 5x24 jam, 10x24 jam dan 15x24 jam mempunyai nilai kurang dari hasil Ftabel5%, sehingga untuk keragaman kelompok itu didapatkan tidak berbeda nyata atau hasil hipotesis penelitian (H0) dapat diterima sedangkan hipotesis penelitian (H1) ditolak. Sedangkan pada Fhitung perlakuan dari waktu 5x24 jam, 10x24 jam dan 15x24 jam mempunyai nilai lebih dari hasil Ftabel5%, sehingga untuk keragaman kelompok itu didapatkan berbeda nyata atau hasil hipotesis penelitian (H1) dapat diterima sedangkan hipotesis penelitian (H0) ditolak. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pemberian pakan ampas tahu sebagai suplemen protein pakan alternatif terhadap pertambahan berat badan Mencit (Mus musculus) berpengaruh nyata

Tofu waste is the side effect of tofu making process which is solid and obtained from the extract of soy bean porridge. The objective of the study is to know the influence of giving tofu waste as protein suplementary of alternative food towaard the weight gain of Mencit (Mus musculus).
The study uses experiment method and Group Random Design. The treatments are arranged in 9 levels of concentration by using three times repetitionm namely P0 = 0% (control), P1 = 10%, P2 = 20%, P3 = 30%, P4 = 40%, P5 = 50%, P6 = 60%, P7 = 70%, dan P8 = 80%. The object of study is female Mencit (Mus musculus) of 4-5 ages, the weight ranges between 4-5 weeks. The technique of data analysis use Analysis of Variance (ANAVA). Then, it is continued by test of difference of Duncan Clear Distance, if it is there is a significant difference. The application of data analysis to be used is SPSS-15.
The result of the study indicates that Fcalculation of group in 5x24 hours, 10x24 hours and 15x24 hours has the score less than Ftable 5% so that the variety of the group, there is no significant different. The null hypothesis (H0) can be accepted and H1 is rejected. While Fcalculation of 5x24 hours, 10x24 hours and 15x24 hours has the score more than Ftable 5% so that variety of group is significant or the result of the hypothesis (H1) is accepted and (H0) is rejected. This indicates that giving tofu waste as protein suplementary of alternative food toward the weight gain of Mencit (Mus musculus) has an significant influence.
