Abstract

Berdasarkan penelitian tentang rumah kost menjadi pilihan yang terbanyak diminati mahasiswa IAIN Palangka Raya yang berasal dari luar daerah sebagai tempat tinggal. Ada beberapa faktor yang dapat dipertimbangkan oleh mahasiswa dalam upaya memperoleh rumah kost yang sesuai keinginan, diantaranya memperhatikan lingkungan sekitar, perbandingan harga sewa, fasilitas yang disediakan oleh pihak jasa rumah kost tersebut,atau memilih rumah kos berdasarkan saran teman satu kampus, atau teman satu daerah.

Penelitian skripsi yang berjudul standarisasi rumah kost mahasiswa IAIN Palangka Raya di sekitar komplek IAIN Palangka Raya, di fokuskan kepada dua permasalahan yaitu 1. Bagaimana kepuasan konsumen terhadap sarana dan prasarana 2. Bagaimana kepuasan konsumen terhadap harga.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif, subjek penelitianya pemilik rumah kost tersebut, objeknya kepuasan konsumen terhadap sarana dan prasarana dan kepuasan konsumen terhadap harga. Teknik pengumpulan data observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi.

Hasil penelitian ini 1. Kepuasan konsumen terhadap sarana dan prasarana. Untuk kepuasan terhadap sarana dan prasarana ada yang merasa sangat puas dan ada juga yang merasa tidak puas dari 4 rumah kost tersebut. 2. Kepuasan konsumen terhadap harga ada yang merasa sangat puas ada juga yang tidak merasa puas dari 4 rumah kost tersebut. Yaitu rumah kost mama indra dan rumah kost barak hijau merasa tidak puas dengan harga, sarana dan prasarana. rumah kost manazil group dan rumah kost wisma 2 bintang merasa puas dengan harga, sarana dan prasarana.

ABSTRACT

Based on the early observations about boarding houses being the most preferred choice by students of IAIN Palangka Raya who come from outside Palangka Raya as a place to live. There are several factors that can be considered by students in an effort to get a boarding house as they wish, including the surrounding environment, comparison of rental rates, facilities provided by the boarding house services, or choosing a boarding house based on classmates, or friends from the same region.

Thesis research entitled standardization of boarding houses of students of IAIN Palangka Raya around the area of IAIN Palangka Raya, is focused on two problems, namely: 1. How is customer satisfaction of the facilities and infrastructure 2. How is customer satisfaction about the prices. This research used descriptive qualitative method, the research subject is the owner of the boarding house, the object is consumer satisfaction of the facilities and infrastructure and customer satisfaction about thr prices. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and documentation.

The results of this research 1. Consumer satisfaction of the facilities and infrastructure. However, about the satisfaction of the facilities and infrastructure there are those who feel very satisfied and there are also those who feel dissatisfied according to the 4 boarding houses. 2. Consumer satisfaction about the prices there are some who feel very satisfied there are also those who feel dissatisfied according to the 4 boarding houses. Which are“Mama Indra” boarding house and “Barak Hijau” boarding house were dissatisfied about the price, facilities and infrastructure. Then the “Manazil Group” boarding house and “Wisma 2 Bintang” boarding house are satisfied about the price, facilities and infrastructure.
