Abstract

Mushroom is one of the constituent organisms forest ecosystems. Mushrooms have many kind species both good sized macroscopic and microscopic. Basidiomycetes fungus is one type of macroscopic fungies that has role as a natural ecosystem balance. Research on the population characteristics and distribution patterns of fungi Basidiomycetes as an attempt to explore thenatural source by knowing the populationcharacteristics and the distribution pattern of the types of fungi basidiomycetes inTourism Forest Areas Sanggu VillageSubdistrict South Hamlet of South Barito Regency.
The purpose of this study was to determine the type and characteristics of the population and distribution patterns of the class Basidiomycetes mushroom contained in Tourism Forest Areas Sanggu Village Subdistrict South Hamlet of South Barito Regency and to investigate differences in population characteristics and distribution pattern of the class Basidiomycetes mushroom on upland lowland Tourism Forest Areas Sanggu Village Subdistrict South Hamlett of South Barito Regency. This kind of research hold was the comparative descriptive exploratory study. The method used was a survey method with exploration techniques.
The results of the study Basidiomycetes class of mushroom obtained in upland areas are 20 types of family that consistof 6 Polyporaceae, Hygrophoraceae, Thelophoraceae, Tricholomataceae, Russulaceae, Boletaceae. While the number of class Basidiomycetes fungi obtained in low-lying areas as many as 14 types of family is consist of 4 Polypoeaceae, Thelephoraceae, Tricholomataceae, Auriculariae. The results of the analysis of population characteristics calculation (dominance, frequency, IVI) types of fungi Basidiomycetes class upland areas and plains indicate that there are significant differences. The results of the analysis of distribution pattern of Basidiomycetes Class Mushrooms in the highlands and the lowlands have showed that there is no spread distinct pattern.
