Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1)mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share (TPS) terhadap keaktifan belajar peserta didikpada materi sistem gerak manusia kelas VIII MTs AN-Nur Palangka Raya; (2) mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share (TPS) terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi sistem gerak manusia kelas VIII MTs AN-Nur Palangka Raya.
Penelitian ini menggunakan model rancangan Nonrandomized Control Group Pretest-Postest Design. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian Quasi Eksperimen. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik dan lembar pengamatan keaktifan peserta didik. Populasi penelitian adalah kelas VIII semester 1 MTs An-Nur Palangka Raya Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018, sampel penelitian adalah kelas VIII B berjumlah 30 orang sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII C berjumlah 26 orang sebagai kelas kontrol.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa; (1) terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share (TPS) terhadap keaktifan belajar peserta didik pada taraf signifikasnsi 0,000, dengan rata-rata nilai keaktifan peserta didik pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 76,06 dan nilai keaktifan peserta didik kelas kontrol sebesar 52,88; (2) terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share (TPS) terhadap hasilbelajar peserta didik pada taraf signifikansi 0,007, dengan rata-rata nilai postest 76,90 dan postest 34,33 pada kelas eksperimen, sedangkan pada kelas kontrol nilai rata-rata postest 69,92 dan pretest 37,15.
ABSTRACT
This study was aimed to know the influence of cooperative learning type Think Pair Share (TPS) toward enthusiastic students in learning on the material of skeletal system of human at the seventh grade MTs An-Nur Palangka Raya; and to know the influence of cooperative learning type Think Pair Share (TPS) toward learning outcomes of the students in learning the material of skeletal system of human at the seventh grade MTs An-Nur Palangka Raya.
This study was designed with Nonrandomized Control Group Pretest-Postest, and the approach was quasi-experimental-quantitative. Cognitive test result and enthusiasm of the students’ checklist observation were used as the instruments. The population was at the seventh grade, and the samples that had been taken were VIII B. it consisted of 30 students which decided as the experimental class whereas VIII C which decided as the control class that consisted of 26 students.
The result findings revealed that there was influence of cooperative learning type Think Pair Share (TPS) toward enthusiastic students at significance standard 0,0000 with the mean of the experimental class was at 76, 06, and mean of the control class was at 52, 88; there was influence influence of cooperative learning type Think Pair Share (TPS) toward learning outcomes of the students at significance standard 0,007 with the mean of post-test was at 76, 90 which the pre-test result of experimental class was at 34, 33 meanwhile the control class was at 69,92 of post-test and 37,15 of the pre-test.
