Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) Aktivitas siswa menggunakan strategi pembelajaran aktif tipe Question Student Have pada materi pokok kalor, (2) Ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa setelah diterapkan strategi pembelajaran aktif tipe Question Student Have, dan (3) Respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran dengan menggunakan strategi pembelajaran aktif tipe Question Student Have pada materi pokok kalor.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif, dengan populasi seluruh kelas X semester II SMAN-1 Palangka Raya Tahun Ajaran 2013/2014. Sampel penelitian dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling yaitu kelas X-1 semester II SMAN-1 Palangka Raya berjumlah 38 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar pengamatan aktivitas siswa, tes hasil belajar kognitif siswa, dan angket respon siswa. Uji coba instrumen tes hasil belajar dilakukan pada kelas XI IPA-2. Instrumen uji coba berjumlah 46 soal pilihan ganda dengan 5 opsi dan 25 soal yang digunakan untuk tes hasil belajar. Tingkat reliabilitas soal yang diperoleh dari hasil uji coba instrumen sebesar 0,77 dengan kategori tinggi.
Hasil penelitian diperoleh: (1) Aktifitas siswa menggunakan pembelajaran Question Student Have pokok bahasan kalor memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 76,25% dengan kategori cukup aktif, (2) Ketuntasan hasil belajar kognitif secara individu diperoleh 20 siswa yang tuntas, 17 siswa tidak tuntas, dan 1 siswa tidak mengikuti tes hasil belajar. Secara klasikal hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan pembelajaran aktif tipe Question Student Have tidak tuntas, karena hanya diperoleh 54,05% siswa yang tuntas. Ketuntasan TPK diperoleh 16 TPK tuntas dan 9 TPK tidak tuntas dari 25 TPK yang digunakan, dan (3) Respon siswa secara keseluruhan menunjukkan 70,3% setuju bahwa strategi Question Student Have merupakan strategi pembelajaran yang baru bagi siswa, 51,4% cukup setuju bahwa strategi Question Student Have membuat siswa berani untuk bertanya, dan 56,8% tidak setuju jika strategi Question Student Have yang digunakan merupakan strategi pembelajaran yang membosankan.

This study is intended to know: (1) Students’ activities through Question Student Have on heat material, (2) completeness of students’ learning outcomes after the implementation of Question Student Have, and (3) students’ respon toward learning using active learning strategy of Question Student Have type heat material.
This study used descriptive quantitative approach, with the students of second semester of tenth grade of SMA Negeri 1 Palangka raya in academic year 2013/2014 as subject population. Samples were selected by purposive sampling technique, the samples are 38 students of the second semester of tenth grade of SMA Negeri 1 Palangkaraya. The instrument sare observation sheet of students’ activities, students' cognitive learning outcomes test, and students’ responses questionnaire. The test was conducted in the eleventh grade of Science class room 2. The items of test Instrument were 46 multiple choice questions with 5 options and 25 questions used to test learning outcomes. The reliability level obtained from the test instrument twas 0.77.
The results of the study are: (1) average value of students’ activities using Question Student Have on heat material is 76.25%, (2) cognitive learning outcomes of the students are 20 students passed, 17 students did not passed, and 1 student did not take the test. Classically Question Student Have is considered failed, because there are only 54.05% of the students who passed the test. The completeness of 25 TPK used are 16 passed and 9 failed, and (3) overall students’ responses showed 70.3% agreed that Question Student Have strategy are new learning strategy for students, 51.4% quite agreed that Question Student Have strategy encouraged students to ask, and 56.8% did not agree that the Question Student Have strategy is boring learning strategy.
