Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji (1) terdapat atau tidaknya perbedaan yang signifikan aktivitas siswa yang diajar dengan model kooperatif tipe jigsaw dan siswa yang diajar dengan model kooperatif tipe STAD pada pokok bahasan Usaha dan Energi (2) terdapat atau tidaknya perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar siswa yang diajar dengan model kooperatif tipe Jigsaw dan siswa yang diajar dengan model kooperatif tipe STAD pada pokok bahasan Usaha dan Energi.

Penelitian ini menggunakan model rancangan The Static Group Pretest-Postest Design. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar pengamatan aktivitas siswa dan tes hasil belajar kognitif siswa. Populasi penelitian adalah kelas VIII semester 2 SMP Muhammadiyah Palangka Raya Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016, sampel penelitian adalah kelas VIII-I berjumlah 24 orang sebagai kelas yang akan diajar dengan model kooperatif tipe Jigsaw dan kelas VIII-V berjumlah 25 orang sebagai kelas yang akan diajar dengan model kooperatif tipe STAD. Analisis data menggunakan program SPSS versi 17.0 for windows.

Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1) Tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara aktivitas siswa yang diajar dengan model kooperatif tipe jigsaw dan siswa yang diajar dengan model kooperatif tipe STAD, pada signifikansi 0,05 (sig. pada dua ekor adalah 0,065 > 0,05) ; (2) analisis uji hipotesis pada post-test menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara siswa yang diajar dengan model kooperatif tipe jigsaw dan siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD, pada signifikansi 0,05 yang mana signifikansi pada dua ekor adalah 0,005.

ABSTRACK

This study aims to assess (1) there is or not a significant difference activities of students taught by cooperative model type jigsaw and students taught by cooperative model STAD on the subject of Business and Energy (2) there are or not a significant difference in student learning outcomes taught by Jigsaw type of cooperative models and the students taught by cooperative model STAD on the subject of work and Energy.

This study uses a model design The Static Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The instruments used were observation sheet student activity and students' cognitive achievement test. The study population is the second half of class VIII SMP Muhammadiyah Palangkaraya School Year 2015/2016, the study sample was class VIII-I amounting to 24 people as the class that will be taught with the type cooperative model Jigsaw and VIII-V are 25 people as the class that will be taught with STAD cooperative models. Data analysis using SPSS version 17.0 for Windows.

The results showed that: (1) There is no significant difference between the activity of the students taught by the type cooperative model jigsaw and students taught by cooperative model STAD, at 0.05 (sig. On two tails is 0.065 > 0.05 ); (2) analysis of hypothesis testing in post-test showed a significant difference between students who are taught by the type cooperative model jigsaw and students taught by cooperative learning model STAD, at 0.05 which is the significance of the two tails is 0.005
