Abstract

Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 1 Model Palangka Raya merupakan salah satu lembaga pendidikan yang berciri khas agama Islam dan sebagai satu-satunya Madrasah Tsanawiyah percontohan di kota Palangka Raya. Sebagai lembaga pendidikan tentunya tak lepas dari komponen-komponen pendidikan yang meliputi siswa, guru, kurikulum, sarina-prasarana, dan evaluasi. Evaluasi sebagai salah satu komponen memiliki peran penting untuk mengetahui tingkat kemampuan siswa dalam belajar.

Evaluasi akhir yang sekarang dikenal dengan Ujian Nasional dipahami siswa secara berbeda. Hal ini diduga membawa pengaruh terhadap aktivitas belajar siswa. sesuai tingkat pemahamannya. Berdasarkan pemikiran di atas, maka penulis tertarik mengadakan penelitian dengan masalah utama ada tidaknya pengaruh pemahaman siswa tentang standarisasi nasional nilai kelulusan Ujian Nasional terhadap aktivitas belajar siswa kelas VIII dan IX Madrasah Tanawiyah Negeri 1 Model Palangka Raya.

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama 2 (dua) bulan dari tanggal 22 Mei sampai 22 Juli 2007, dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh pemahaman siswa tentang standarisasi national nilai kelulusan Ujian Nasional terhadap aktivitas belajar siswa kelas VIII dan IX Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 1 Model Palangka Raya. Untuk menjawab permasalahan di atas dikumpulkan data tertulis dan tidak tertulis dengan teknik observasi, dokumentasi, dan angket.

Populasi penelitian semua siswa kelas VIII dan IX Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 1 Model Palangka Raya tahun ajaran 2006/2007, berjumlah 333 orang dengan besamya sampel 10% sehingga jumlah sampel 33 orang. Sampel diambil secara acak korena siswa dianggap memiliki karakter yang sama (homogen), kemudian data yang terkumpul di analisa secara kuantitatif.

Berdasarkan analisis data tingkat pemahaman siswa tentang standarisasi nasional nilai kelulman Ujian Nasional diperoleh skor rata-rata 37,1 berada dalam interval 33-48 dengan klasifikasi baik. Dan aktivitas belajar siswa kelas VIII dan IX Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri | Model Palangka Raya untuk 3 mata pelajaran Ujian Nasional yaitu Matematika, B.Indonesia dan B.Inggris di peroleh skor rata-rata 61,39 berada dalam interval 49-72 dengan klasifikasi baik.

Selanjutnya tingkat pengaruh pemahaman siswa tentang standarisasi nasional nilai kelulusan Ujian Nasional terhadap aktivitas belajar siswa kelas VIII dan IX Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri I Model Palangka Raya diperoleh angka indeks korelasi sebesar 0.61 yang terletak antara 0,40-0,70. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa korelasi antara variabel x dan variabel y tergolong sedang. Apabila dilihat harga t hitang diperoleh angka 4,30 dengan Df sebesar 30 dengan tabel Ts-1% 2,75 dan tabel Ts-5% 2,04. Maka diketahuit hitung jauh lebih besar dari 1 tabel yaitu 2,75 -4,302,04. Dengan demikian hipotesa nihil (Ho) ditolak dan hipotesa alternatif (Ha) yang diterima artinya ada pengarah pemahaman siswa tentang standarisasi nasional nilai kelulusan Ujian Nasional terhadap aktivitas belajar siswa kelas VIII dan IX Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri t Model Palangka Raya.

ABSTRACT

MTsN 1 Model of Palangka Raya is an Islamic education institution and as a school model of Palangka Raya. As an Islamic education institution, it consists of education components such as students, teachers, curriculum, media and evaluation. Evaluation as on of the education components has significant roles to identify the students' ability.

The final evaluation, which is known as National Exam, is differently understood. It is assumed that it gives effect on the students' learning activities based on their level of comprehension. Based on the phenomena above, the writer is interested in conducting a study on the effectiveness of the students comprehension on the passing grade national standardize of the national exam toward the students' learning activities of the eighth and ninth grade students of MTsN 1 Model of Palangka Raya.

The study was held for two months starting from May 22 to July 22, 2007. The study was aimed at investigating whether there was an effect or not, of the students" comprehension on the passing grade national standardize of the national exam toward the students learning activities of the eighth and ninth grade students of MTsN 1 Model of Palangka Raya. To answer the research problem, the researcher collected the written and unwritten data using observation, documentation, and questionnaire techniques.

The population of the study is all the eighth and ninth grade students of MISNI Model of Palangka of sendemic year 2005/2007. The number of the population is 333. Here, the researcher took 10% or 33 of them as the sample of the study. The sampling technique applied in the study was random sampling since the population Then, the collected data are quantitatively analyzed.

Based on the data analysis of the level of the students' comprehension on the passing grade national standardize of the national exam, it was found that the mean score is 37.1 lying on the interval of 33 48 categorized as good. Meanwhile, the studenta leaming activities of the sighth ana ninth grade students of MTAN I Model of Palangka Rays for three subjects: Mathematics, Indonesian and English, it was found that the mean score is 6139lying on the interval of 49- 72 categorized as good.

Moreover, the significance level of the students comprehension on the peasing grade national standardize of the national exam toward the students learning activities of the eighth and ninth grade students of MTsN | Model of Palangka Rayn, it was found that the significant correlation was 0.61 lying between 0.40-0.70. It showed that the correlation between variable of x and y categorized as moderate. As seen in the 1 value was 4.30 with df 30 and the t table of Significance level of 5% was 2.75 and the 1 table of Significance level of 1% was 2.04. It was shown that the value is greater than the table, that in, 2.75 4.302.04. Therefore the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected and the alternative hypothesis sctivities of the eighth and ninth grade students of MTsN 1 Model of Palangka Raya.
(Ha) was accepted. It means that there was an effect of the students' comprehension on the passing grade national standardize of the national exam toward the students' learning activities of the eighth and ninth grade students of MTSN I Model of Palangka Raya.
