Abstract
Quality assurance in Islamic higher education is an urgent matter to be implemented, and moreover, the established Islamic universities in Indonesia are demanded immediate action. It is the demands that must be met because of factors of the needs of the community and stakeholders against qualified Islamic university. The society has the right to education equally with excellence and equity between access and achievement. By improving the quality of higher education continuously; therefore, the efforts to develop a quality assurance in higher education is indispensable. Through this quality assurance, it is expected to grow a culture of quality ranging from how to establish standards, implement standards, evaluate the implementation of standards, and improve the standards with the continuous quality improvement.
