Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melengkapi perangkat pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh guru. Selain itu, penelitian pengembangan ini dilakukan untuk memfasilitasi siswa dalam mengembangkan kemampuan memecahan masalah terutama permasalahan yang berkaitan dengan fisika dan kehidupan sehari-hari. Hasil analisis kebutuhan oleh guru fisika dan siswa kelas XI di SMA Negeri 1 Palangka Raya diketahui guru tidak membuat LKS sendiri untuk siswa, LKS yang digunakan masih sebatas pada LKS yang tersedia pada buku paket.

Penelitian ini mengangkat materi fisika kelas XI yaitu Elastisitas dan Hukum Hooke. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) mendeskripsikan profil pengembangan LKS berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL); (2) mendeskripsikan kelayakan LKS berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL); dan (3) mendeskripsikan LKS berbasis berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) oleh guru fisika SMA Negeri 1 Palangka Raya.

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research And Development (R&D) dengan jenis pendekatan yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan kualitatif. Desain pengembangan yang digunakan untuk menghasilkan produk adalah model ADDIE yang dikembangkan oleh Dick and Carry (1996). Model ADDIE terdiri dari 5 tahapan, yaitu: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Namun pada penelitian ini hanya dilakukan sampai tahap development, yaitu mengembangkan produk. Tahap development merupakan tahap untuk menghasilkan LKS berbasis PBL sebagai bahan ajar yang dapat digunakan untuk melengkapi perangkat pembelajaran yang tersedia. Kelayakan LKS berbasis PBL dilihat dari skor validasi oleh ahli media dan ahli materi. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara dan angket kepada validator dan guru fisika.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) LKS berbasis PBL materi elastisitas dan hukum Hooke yang dikembangkan menyajikan dalam 5 komponen kegiatan, diantaranya permasalahan, penyelidikan, penyajian data, analisis pemecahan masalah, dan evaluasi; (2) kelayakan LKS berbasis PBL oleh ahli media diperoleh persentase 82,95% dengan kriteriaa sangat baik dan sangat layak, kelayakan LKS berbasis PBL oleh ahli materi diperoleh persentase 92% dengan kriteria sangat baik dan sangat layak; (3) kelayakan LKS berbasis PBL oleh guru diperoleh persentase 91,17% dengan kriteria sangat baik dan sangat layak.

ABSTRACT

This research was conducted to complement the learning tools used by teachers. In addition, this development research was conducted to facilitate students in developing problem-solving skills, especially problems related to physics and everyday life. The results of the needs analysis by the physics teacher and class XI students at SMA Negeri 1 Palangka Raya revealed that the teacher did not make their own LKS for students, the LKS used was still limited to the LKS available in textbooks.

This study raised the material of physics class XI, namely Elasticity and Hooke's Law. The objectives of this study are: (1) to describe the profile of problem-based learning (PBL)-based worksheets development; (2) describe the feasibility of Problem Based Learning (PBL) based worksheets; and (3) describe the Problem Based Learning (PBL) based worksheets by physics teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Palangka Raya.

This research is a Research And Development (R&D) research with the type of approach used is a qualitative approach. The development design used to produce the product is the ADDIE model developed by Dick and Carry (1996). The ADDIE model consists of 5 stages, namely: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. However, this research was only carried out until the development stage, namely developing the product. The development stage is the stage to produce PBL-based worksheets as teaching materials that can be used to complement the available learning tools. The feasibility of PBL-based worksheets is seen from the validation scores by media experts and material experts. Data collection techniques were carried out by interviews and questionnaires to validators and physics teachers.

The results showed that: (1) PBL-based worksheets on elasticity and Hooke's law material that were developed present 5 activity components, including problems, investigations, data presentation, problem solving analysis, and evaluation; (2) the feasibility of PBL-based LKS by media experts obtained a percentage of 82.95% with very good and very decent criteria, the feasibility of PBL-based LKS by material experts obtained a percentage of 92% with very good and very decent criteria; (3) the feasibility of PBL-based worksheets by teachers is obtained by a percentage of 91.17% with very good and very decent criteria.
