Abstract

Penelitian dilakukan berdasarkan hasil wawancara disimpulkan bahwa siswa cenderung pasif dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran fisika di kelas. Proses pembelajaran yang masih bertitik berat pada guru, pemahaman pada konsep fisika cenderung kurang berminat pada pembelajaran selain dari pelajaran kejurusannya pada pelajaran fisika khususnya materi yang dinilai sulit untuk dipahami. siswa terbiasa mendapatkan materi langsung dari guru dan kurang bisa menemukan jawaban dari permasalahan yang munculkan oleh guru ketika kegiatan belajar mengajar berlangsung.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) terdapat tidaknya peningkatan yang signifikan hasil belajar siswa sebelum dan setelah mendapatkan model pembelajaran problem based learning berbantuan media animasi pada materi suhu dan kalor. (2) terdapat tidaknya peningkatan yang signifikan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa sebelum dan setelah mendapatkan model pembelajaran problem based learning berbantuan media animasi pada materi suhu dan kalor.

Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian pra-eksperimen. Desain penelitian menggunakan one-group pretest-posttest design dengan sampel menggunakan teknik sampel jenuh, sampel yang dipilih yaitu kelas XI MIA. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di MA Hidayatul Insan Palangka Raya pada bulan Juli 2021. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes hasil belajar Kognitif dan berpikir kritis siswa.

Hasil penelitian diperoleh: (1) Terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar siswa sebelum dan setelah mendapatkan pembelajaran penerapan model problem based learning berbantuan media animasi berdasarkan dari nilai pretest dan posttest mengalami peningkatan. (2) Terdapat peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa sebelum dan setelah mendapatkan pembelajaran penerapan model problem based learning berbantuan media animasi berdasarkan dari nilai pretest dan posttest mengalami peningkatan.

ABSTRACT

The study was conducted based on the results of interviews concluded that students tend to be passive in participating in the physics learning process in class. The learning process is still focused on the teacher, understanding the concepts of physics tends to be less interested in learning other than the majors in physics lessons, especially subject that is considered difficult to understand. students are used to getting subject directly from the teacher and are less able to find answers to the problems raised by the teacher when teaching and learning activities take place.

This study aims to determine (1) whether or not there is a significant increase in student learning outcomes before and after getting a problem based learning learning model assisted by animation media on temperature and heat subject (2) whether or not there is a significant increase in students' critical thinking skills before and after getting a problem based learning model assisted by animation media on temperature and heat subject.

This study uses a quantitative approach with the type of pre-experimental research. The research design used a one-group pretest-posttest design with the sample using the saturated sample technique, the selected sample was class XI MIA. This research was conducted at MA Hidayatul Insan Palangka Raya in July 2021. The instrument used was a test of students' cognitive learning outcomes and critical thinking.

The results obtained: (1) There is an increase in student learning outcomes before and after getting learning the application of problem based learning models assisted by animation media based on the value of pretest and posttest has increased. (2) There is an increase in students' critical thinking skills before and after receiving learning the application of problem based learning models assisted by animation media based on the pretest and posttest scores increased.
