Abstract

Abstract

Materi keselamatan di rumah dan perjalanan dianggap sulit oleh siswa karena banyaknya teks cerita dongeng pada setiap sub pelajaran. Sehingga siswa yang tergolong lambat dalam membaca membutuhkan macam-macam metode dan media yang kreatif, menyenangkan yang dapat meningkatkan semangat siswa dalam belajar. Penggunaan media pembelajaran big book berdasarkan kearifan lokal diharapkan mampu membantu siswa dalam mengatasi kesulitan tersebut. Pengembangan media pembelajaran big book berdasarkan kearifan lokal bertujuan untuk: (1) menghasilkan media pembelajaran big book berdasarkan kearifan lokal materi keselamatan di rumah dan perjalanan kelas II SDN-1 Paren; (2) mendeskripsikan kelayakan media pembelajaran big book berdasarkan kearifan lokal materi keselamatan di rumah dan perjalanan kelas II SDN-1 Paren.

Metode penelitian ini menggunakan research & development dengan model pengembangan ADDIE, yang diantaranya yaitu: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan untuk mengetahui kualitas produk berupa lembaran penilaian media yang digunakan untuk ahli materi, ahli media dan lembaran tanggapan siswa dengan menggunakan skala likert.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) media pembelajaran big book berdasarkan kearifan lokal memenuhi syarat untuk digunakan di SDN-1 Paren dengan model ADDIE. (2) berdasarkan validasi ahli materi diperoleh persentase nilai akhir dengan rata-rata 78,33% kategori “baik” dan hasil validasi ahli media diperoleh persentase nilai akhir dengan rata-rata 69,99% kategori “baik” serta hasil uji coba kelompok kecil menyebutkan bahwa persentase akhir yang diperoleh adalah 98% kategori “sangat baik” dan uji coba kelompok besar memperoleh persentase akhir 97% dengan kategori “sangat baik”.

ABSTRACT

Safety materials at home and travel are considered difficult by students because of the large number of fairy tale texts in each sub lesson. So that students who are classified as slow in reading need a variety of creative, fun methods and media that can increase students' enthusiasm for learning. The use of big book learning media based on local wisdom is expected to be able to help students overcome these difficulties. The development of big book learning media based on local wisdom aims to: (1) produce big book learning media based on local wisdom on safety materials at home and class II SDN-1 Paren; (2) describe the feasibility of big book learning media based on local wisdom on safety materials at home and class II SDN-1 Paren.

This research method uses research & development with the ADDIE development model, which includes: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research instrument used to determine product quality was in the form of media assessment sheets used for material experts, media experts and student response sheets using a Likert scale.

The results showed that: (1) big book learning media based on local wisdom met the requirements for use in SDN-1 Paren with the ADDIE model. (2) based on material expert validation, the final score percentage was obtained with an average of 78.33% in the "good" category and the results of media expert validation obtained the final score percentage with an average of 69.99% in the "good" category and the results of small group trials stated that the final percentage obtained was 98% in the "very good" category and the large group trial obtained a final percentage of 97% in the "very good" category.
