Abstract

Konsentrasi pembahasan dalam tesis ini berdasarkan rumusan masalah yaitu: 1) bagaimana kompetensi profesional guru PAI yang berlatar belakang non pendidikan agama Islam dalam penguasaan materi PAI kelas XII dalam aspek akidah, 2) bagaimana kompetensi profesional guru PAI yang berlatar belakang non pendidikan agama Islam dalam penguasaan materi PAI kelas XII dalam aspek ibadah.

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan memakai pendekatan penelitian fenomenologi. Intrumen penelitian adalah peneliti sendiri. Pengumpulan data di lapangan menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, guru PAI berlatar belakang pendidikan biologi murni, dan dua orang siswa kelas 12. Analisis data yang dilakukan yaitu: reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan atau verifikasi data.

Hasil penelitian ini adalah: kurang menguasai tetapi terbantu dengan media pembelajaran yang semakin canggih seperti video tentang belajar baca Al-Qur’an, sholat, dan lain-lain tetapi untuk pengembangan materi mengalami kesulitan.

ABSTRACT

The concentration of discussing in this thesis based on the problem, they are 1) How is the professional competence of Islamic Education teacher in Islamic Education material mastery at XII Grade in Akidah aspect, 2) How is the professional competence of Islamic Education teacher in Islamic Education material mastery at XII Grade in worship aspect.

This research used qualitative research and used phenomenology approach. The instrument in this research was the researcher itself. The data collection technique used observation, interview and documentation. The source of this research were the Principal, the Islamic Education teacher with pure biology education background and two students from XII grade. The data analysis used data reduction, data display and drawing conclusion or data verification.

The result of this research shown that unable to mastery but get helped with sophisticated learning media like video about how to read Al-Qur’an, Prayer and others but still difficult in developed the material.
