Abstract
Penelitian ini bertolak dari hasil observasi di kelas X SMAN 1 Sukamara. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara kepada guru mata pelajaran PAI, diketahui bahwa siswa masih mengalami kesulitan dalam belajar. Hal ini terlihat dari perilaku siswa yang terkesan pasif sehingga berdampak pada hasil belajar yang masih rendah. Oleh karena itu peneliti menawarkan model pembelajaran Kooperatif Talking Stick sebagai sebuah solusi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tentang; (1) Hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Talking Stick (2) Hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. (3) Perbedaan hasil belajar siswa dari penerapan model pembelajaran Talking Stick dengan model pembelajaran konvensional. (4) Respons siswa setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran Talking Stick.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif jenis quasi eksperimen Teknik penentuan sampel adalah purposive samping dengan jumlah 24 siswa pada masing masing kelas. Instrumen penelitian adalah tes hasil belajar dengan jumlah 15 butir soal. Analisis data menggunakan rumus uji t sampel independen dengan menguji hipotesis perbedaan hasil belajar siswa antara model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Talking Stick dengan model pembelajaran konvensional pada mata pelajaran PAI kelas X di SMAN 1 Sukamara.
Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa; (1) Hasil belajar siswa setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran Talking Stick diketahui dari 24 orang siswa terdapat 70,8% siswa tuntas dan 29,1% siswa tidak tuntas dengan perolehan nilai rata-rata kelas 80,75. (2) Hasil belajar siswa setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran konvensional diketahui dari 24 orang siswa terdapat 29,1% siswa tuntas dan 70,8% siswa tidak tuntas dengan perolehan nilai rata-rata kelas 66,08. (3) Terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa antara penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Talking Stick dengan model pembelajaran konvensional pada pembelajaran PAI kelas X. Hal ini ditunjukkan dari output hasil t-test uji t sampel independen diperoleh nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05 sehingga Ha diterima. (4) Respons siswa dalam kategori tertarik dengan penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif Talking Stick dengan hasil persentase 79,16%.
Abstract
This research departs from observations in class X of Sukamara senior high school. Based on the results of interviews with PAI subject teacher, it is known that students are still experiencing difficulties in learning. This can be seen from the behavior of students who seem passive so that the impact on learning outcomes are still low. Therefore the researcher offers the cooperative Talking Stick learning model as a solution. This study aims to describe about; (1) Student learning outcomes using the Talking Stick learning model (2) Student learning outcomes using conventional learning model (3) Differences in student learning outcomes between the application of Talking Stick learning model with conventional learning model (4) Student responses after the Talking Stick learning model is applied.
This research uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental. The technique of determining the sample is purposive aside with 24 students in each class. The research instrument was a learning achievement test with 15 items. Data analysis used independent sample t test formula by testing the hypothesis of significant differences in student learning outcomes from the application of the Talking Stick learning model with conventional learning model in PAI learning class X.
The results showed that; (1) Student learning outcomes after applying the Talking Stick learning model known from 24 students there are 70,8% of students complete and 29,1% of students incomplete with the acquisition of an average grade of 80,75. (2) Student learning outcomes after applying the conventional learning model known from 24 students there are 29,1% of students complete and 70,8% of students incomplete with the acquisition of an average grade of 66,08. (3) There is a difference in student learning outcomes between the application of the Talking Stick cooperative learning model and conventional learning model in PAI learning class X. This is indicated from the output of the t-test results of the independent sample t obtained a significance value of 0,000 < 0,05 so that Ha is accepted. (4) The responses of students in the category are interested in using the Talking Stick cooperative learning model with a percentage of 79,16%.
