Abstract

Beragam agama siswa di SMP Negeri 12 Palangka Raya, menjadi sesuatu yang unik, bagi kepala sekolah dalam memfasilitasi siswa untuk melaksanakan ibadah demi tercapainya ketaatan dan tumbuhnya nilai karakter. Penanaman nilai karakter siswa sangat penting. Sebab anak-anak remaja tanpa pendidikan karakter akan sangat berbahaya bagi kelangsungan peradaban bangsa di masa yang akan datang. Seluruh siswa beragama Islam melalui program keagamaan melaksanakan salat Duha berjamaah guna menanamkan nilai karakter pada diri siswa. Program salat Duha dimulai sejak tahun 2016. Dari sekian banyak SMP di Kota Palangka Raya. SMP Negeri 12 Palangka Raya mewajibkan seluruh siswanya melaksanakan salat Duha di sekolah, terkecuali siswa yang berhalangan dan siswa yang beragama non-muslim. Hal ini menjadi menarik untuk diteliti.

Adapun permasalahan yang diangkat adalah 1) Bagaimana pelaksanaan salat Duha dalam rangka penanaman nilai-nilai karakter siswa di SMP Negeri 12 Palangka Raya? 2) Nilai-nilai karakter apa saja yang ditanamkan melalui program salat Duha di SMP Negeri 12 Palangka Raya?

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pelaksanaan salat Duha dan menganalisis nilai-nilai karakter yang ditanamkan melalui program salat Duha di SMP Negeri 12 Palangka Raya. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang utama adalah observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis data kualitatif bersifat induktif, yaitu analisis berdasarkan data yang diperoleh, dengan cara reduksi data, penyajian data, dan berakhir dengan penarikan kesimpulan.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan 1) Bahwa program salat Duha dapat menanamkan nilai karakter bagi siswa hal tersebut terlihat dari proses perencanaan yang tersusun secara terstruktur, diawali dengan menyusun rangkaian kegiatan mulai dari membaca salawat, menentukan waktu salat dan pembacaan surah-surah pendek serta membuat jadwal guru pendamping. Salat duha memiliki tujuan agar membiasakan siswa taat dalam beribadah dengan teratur dan tertib, dapat memegang sunah Rasul. Pembiasaan ini dilakukan dengan siswa berwudhu, membaca salawat, membaca surah-surah pendek, bacaan salat dikeraskan, dan gerakan salat selalu didampingi oleh guru, salat Duha dipimpin oleh imam yang bertugas sesuai jadwal yang ada. Selain siswa beberapa guru pendamping juga ikut melaksanakan salat Duha sehingga semakin menambah semangat siswa. 2) Nilai-nilai karakter yang ditanamkan selama dilaksanakannya salat Duha meliputi nilai karakter religius, disiplin, peduli lingkungan, dan tanggung jawab.

ABSTRACT

The diversity of students religions at 12 Palangka Raya State Middle School, has become something unique, for principals in facilitating students to carry out worship for the achievement of obedience and the growth of character values. Instilling student character values is very important. Because teenagers without character education will be very dangerous for the continuity of the nations civilization in the future. All Muslim students through religious programs carry out the Duha prayer in congregation to instill character values in students. The Duha prayer program began in 2016. Of the many junior high schools in the city of Palangka Raya. State High School 12 Palangka Raya requires all students to perform Duha prayers at school, except for those who are unable to attend and those who are non-Muslim. This becomes interesting to study.

The issues raised are 1) How is the implementation of the Duha prayer in the context of inculcating the values of student character in the 12 Public High School in Palangka Raya? 2) What character values are instilled through the Duha prayer program at 12 Palangka Raya State Middle School?

The purpose of this study was to analyze the implementation of Duha prayers and analyze the character values instilled through the Duha prayer program at 12 Palangka Raya State Middle School.The approach used in this research is a qualitative descriptive approach. The main data collection techniques are observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. This research uses inductive qualitative data analysis, that is analysis based on the data obtained, by means of data reduction, data presentation, and ending with drawing conclusions.
The results of this study indicate that the 1) Duha prayer program can instill character values for students, it can be seen from the structured planning process, beginning with arranging a series of activities ranging from reciting salawat, determining the prayer times and recitation of short surahs and making the accompanying teacher schedule. Prayer Duha has the purpose of getting students obedient in regular and orderly worship, can hold the sunnah of the Apostle. This habituation is carried out with students performing ablution, reciting salawat, reading short surahs, reciting hardened prayers, and the prayer movement is always accompanied by the teacher, the duha prayer is led by the priest who is on duty according to the existing schedule. In addition to students, several accompanying teachers also participated in the Duha prayer so that the students were more motivated. 2) Character values instilled during the Duha prayer include the values of religious character, discipline, care for the environment, and responsibility.
