Abstract

Nilai rata-rata kelas untuk materi Klasifikasi Benda pelajaran IPA di SMPN 2 Palangka Raya semester 1 tahun ajaran 2013/2014masih belum memenuhi standar Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) yang ditetapkan oleh sekolah.Rendahnya hasil belajar ini dipengaruhi oleh banyak faktor, salah satunya siswa merasa kurang termotivasi dalam pembelajaran IPA. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) Pengelolaan pembelajaran IPA Terpadu model Keterhubungan (Connected),(2)Motivasi siswa selama mengikuti pembelajaran IPA Terpadu model Keterhubungan (Connected), (3) Hasil belajar kognitif, afektif dan psikomotorik setelah menggunakan penerapan pembelajaran IPA Terpadu Model Keterhubungan (Connected) (4), Terdapat tidaknya hubungan yang signifikan antara motivasi terhadap hasil belajar kognitif.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan jenis korelasional. Populasi penelitian adalah kelas VII SMPN 2 Palangka Raya tahun ajaran 2014/2015, dan sampel penelitian adalah kelas VII-9 yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar pengelolaan pembelajaran, angket motivasi belajar siswa, lembar pengamatan afektif dan psikomotorik siswa serta tes hasil belajar kognitifsiswa. Analisis data menggunakan program Microsoft excel dan SPSS versi 17.0 for windows.
Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1) Pengelolaan pembelajaran IPA Terpadu model Keterhubungan (Connected)termasuk dalam kategori baik dengan rata-rata sebesar 3,64 (2) Motivasi siswa selama mengikuti pembelajaran IPA Terpadu model Keterhubungan (Connected) termasuk dalam kategori tinggi dengan skor rata-rata sebesar 57 (3) Hasil belajar kognitif setelah menggunakan penerapan pembelajaran IPA Terpadu model Keterhubungan (Connected)dapat menuntaskan 67% siswa dan 33% siswa tidak tuntas. Selanjutnya untuk ketuntasan TPK terdapat 8 TPK (53%) tuntas dan 7 TPK (47%) tidak tuntas. Hasil belajar afektif siswa tertinggi pada indikator pertama dan kedua yaitu rasa ingin tahu, dan teliti dan ramah lingkungan saat pengambilan data dan setelah pengambilan dataterdapat 4 orang siswa (67%). Sedangkan hasil belajar afektif siswa terendah pada indikator ketiga dan keempat yaitu tekun,bertanggung jawab dalam belajar dan mengerjakan tugas (bekerja), dan keterampilan berkomunikasi pada saat praktikumbelajar terdapat 2 orang siswa (33%). Hasil psikomotorik siswa tertinggi pada pertemuan III terdapat 3 orang siswa dengan kategori baik. Sedangkan hasil belajar psikomotorik terendah pada pertemuan I terdapat 1 orang siswa dengan kategori kurang baik (4) Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara motivasi terhadap hasil belajar kognitif dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,636 dalam kategori kuat

The average class score for object classification topic of natural science in SMPN 2 Palangkaraya at the first semester of academic year 2013/2014 is still not meet the minimum criteria for completeness (KKM) set by the school. The low score of this study is influenced by many factors, one of them is that the students feel less motivated in natural science learning. The study is intended to know: (1) learning management of Integrated Natural Science using Connected Learning Model, (2) the motivation of the students during the implementation of Integrated Natural Science using Connected Learning Model, (3) cognitive, affective and psychomotoric learning outcomes after the implementation of Integrated Natural Science using Connected Learning Model (4)the correlation between motivation and cognitive learning outcomes.
The study uses a descriptive quantitative approach with correlation type. The populations of the study are the students of Class VII SMPN 2 Palangka Raya in Academic Year 2014/2015.The samples of the studyare class VII-9, selected by purposive sampling. The instruments of the study are the learning management sheet, the students’ motivation questionnaire, the affective observation sheet, the psychomotor of the students, and students’ cognitive learning outcomes test. The data are analyzed by using Microsoft excel and SPSS version 17.0 for windows.
The results of the study indicates that: (1) learning management of Integrated Natural Science using Connected Learning Model is in good category because the average score is 3.64 (2) the motivation of the students during the implementation of Integrated Natural Science using Connected Learning Modelin high category because the average score is 57 (3) the cognitive learning outcomes after the implementation of Integrated Natural Science using Connected Learning Model, there are 67% succeeded students and 33% failed students. Based on TPK, there are 53 % succeeded students and 47% failed students. The highest students’ affective learning outcomes in first and second indicators during data collecting are curiosity, careful and environmentally friendly; and after data collecting, there are 4 students (67%). Meanwhile, the lowest students’ affective learning outcomes in third and fourth indicators are diligent, responsible in studying and working, and there are 2 students (33%) during communication skill in learning practice. There are 3 students with highest students’ psychomotoric outcomes classified as fair at the third meeting. Meanwhile, There is 1 student with lowest students’ psychomotoric outcomes classified as poor at the first meeting (4) There is a significant correlation between motivation toward cognitive learning outcomes with correlation coefficient is 0.636 in which it is classified as strong category.
