Abstract
Penelitian ini membahas tentang strategi pemasaran sayur hidroponik dan sayur konvensional di kota Palangka Raya, yang mana keduanya saling bersaing menjual sayuran dengan harga dan kualitas yang berbeda. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui tentang : Pertama, strategi pemasaran sayur hidroponik di kota Palangka Raya. Kedua, strategi pemasaran sayur konvensional di kota Palangka Raya dan ketiga perbandingan strategi pemasaran sayur hidroponik dan sayur konvensional di kota Palangka Raya.
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan yang menggunakan pendekatan analisis kualitatif deskriptif dan komparatif. Adapun subjek penelitian ini adalah tiga petani hidroponik dan tiga petani konvensional di kota Palangka Raya, KHAS, kelompok tani dan enam konsumen sebagai informan tambahan. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik pengabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber. Teknik analisis data menggunakan data collection, data reduction, data display dan conclusion drawing/verification.
Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa : Pertama, penerapan strategi pemasaran sayur hidroponik pada product dan promotion sudah diterapkan secara maksimal dan sangat baik, sedangkan unsur price dan place masih belum bisa menjangkau konsumen jadi terciptanya konsumen menengah dan menengah atas. Kedua, penerapan strategi pemasaran sayur konvensional dilihat dari price dan place sudah cukup baik, sedangkan product dan promotion masih harus ada perbaikan dan peningkatan. Ketiga, perbandingan strategi pemasaran sayuran hidroponik dan sayuran konvensional sama-sama unggul diperbedaan unsur.
Abstract
This research discussed about the marketing strategy of hydroponic and conventional vegetables in Palangka Raya Town, which both compete with each other to sell vegetables at different price and quality. The purpose of this research are: First, the marketing strategy of hydroponic vegetable in Palangka Raya town. Second, the marketing strategy of conventional vegetable in Palangka Raya town and the third advantage the marketing strategy of hydroponic and conventional vegetables in Palangka Raya town.
This research was a field research and used qualitative descriptive and comparative analytical approach. The subject of this research are three hydroponic farmers and three conventional farmers in Palangka Raya town, KHAS, farmer community and customer as additional informants. The data collection technique used observation, interview and documentation. The data validation used triangulation sources. The data analysis used data collection, data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing/verification.
The result of this research showed that : First, the implementation marketing strategy of hydroponic strategy on product and promotion has been applied maximum and well, while the elements of price and place are still unable to reach consumers, thus creating middle and upper middle consumers. Second, the implementation marketing strategy of conventional strategy on price and place has been applied maximum and well, while on product and promotion still there must be an improvement and better. Third, comparison of the marketing strategy of hydroponic vegetables and conventional vegetables is equally superior in differentiation of elements.
