Abstract
Berdasarkan hasil observasi awal bahwa pembelajaran masih menggunakan metode ceramah. Pembelajaran hanya difokuskan pada aspek kognitif, sedangkan keterampilan proses sains siswa kurang diperhatikan. Nilai fisika rata-rata siswa masih dibawah KKM yaitu 71 dimana KKM yang ditentukan adalah sebesar 75. Oleh karena itu, perlunya peningkatan hasil belajar dan keterampilan proses sains siswa.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) pengelolaan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode inkuiri; (2) keterampilan proses sains siswa dengan menggunakan metode inkuiri; (3) hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan metode inkuiri; (4) ada tidaknya hubungan yang signifikan antara keterampilan proses sains dan hasil belajar siswa.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode inkuiri dengan rancangan pre-experimental (pra eksperimen). Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes keterampilan proses sains, tes hasil belajar dan lembar pengamatan pengelolaan pembelajaran. Reliabilitas keterampilan proses sains sebesar 0,779 dengan kategori tinggi dan reliabilitas hasil belajar sebesar 0,84 dengan kategori sangat tinggi.
Populasi penelitian adalah kelas VIII semester 1 MTsN 1 Model Palangka Raya Tahun Ajaran 2014/2015, sampel penelitian adalah kelas VIII-6 berjumlah 40 siswa. Analisis data menggunakan uji wilcoxon dan korelasi spearmen.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) pengelolaan pembelajaran fisika secara keseluruhan dengan metode inkuiri didapat hasil sebesar 93,68% kategori sanagat baik; (2) keterampilan proses sains siswa dengan menggunakan metode inkuiri diperoleh nilai N-gain 0,29 kategori rendah; (3) hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan metode inkuiri diperoleh nilai N-gain sebesar 0,48 kategori sedang, sedangkan ketuntasan individual siswa sebesar 75% siswa tuntas dan 25% siswa tidak tuntas dengan ketuntasan TPK sebesar 72,5% tuntas dan 27,5% tidak tuntas; (4) terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara keterampilan proses sains dan hasil belajar siswa sebesar 0,312 dengan kategori rendah.

Based on the preliminary observation result that intructional process still using method. The instructional process only conceing on cognitive aspect, meanwhile science skill process of student lack of attention. The students is physic average score still under KKM that was 71 where KKM recquirement is 75. Hence, to develop achievement and science skill.
The study is intended to know: 1) learning management of physics subject using learning inquiry method, 2) the scientific process skill of the students using learning inquiry method, 3) the cognitive learning outcomes using learning inquiry method, 4) whether or not there is a significant influence of scientific process skill and cognitive learning outcome.
The study uses pre-experimental with proposive Sampling, Pretest Posttes Control Group Desigh. The instruments to be used are the sheet of learning management, test of scientific process skill and test of cognitive learning outcomes of the students. Reability of the scientific process skill of the students obtain 0,779 in which it is classified as high category and reability of learning outcomes of the students obtain 0,84 in which it is classified as very high category
The populations of the study are the student of class VIII of the first semester of MTsN 1 Model Palangka Raya in academic year 2014/2015, the samples of the study are the student of class VIII-6 consisting of 40 student. The data analysis uses uji .t-test and korelation product moment.
The results of the study can be explained as follows. 1) Learning management of physics subject using learning inquiry method obtain 93,68 in which it is classified as excelent category: 2) the scientific process skill of the students using learning inquiry method has the average score 0,29 poor category: 3) The cognitive learning outcomes using using learning inquiry method has the average score 0,48 cateairfgory, meanwhile the student individual mastery was 75% the student was mastered and 25% was not mastered with TPK mastery was 72,5 % mastered and 27,5 % was not mastered: 4) There is significant influence of scientific process skill and cognitive learning outcome with coefficient correlation 0.32 in which it is classified as fair category.
