Abstract

Materi Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam dalam mata pelajaran PAI dianggap sulit oleh siswa karena banyak menyajikan pertistiwa-peristiwa, tanggal, tahun, serta nama tokoh-tokoh sejarah di masa lampau yang sulit dihafalkan, sehingga dianggap hal yang abstrak dan hanya bisa dibayangkan siswa saja. Penggunaan media pembelajaran diharapkan mampu membantu siswa dalam mengatasi kesulitan tersebut. Pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis motion graphic bertujuan untuk: (1) menghasilkan pengembangan media motion graphic mata pelajaran PAI materi pertumbuhan ilmu pengetahuan di masa Bani Umayyah kelas VIII di jenjang SMP; (2) mendeskripsikan kelayakan media motion graphic mata pelajaran PAI materi pertumbuhan ilmu pengetahuan di masa Bani Umayyah kelas VIII di jenjang SMP.

Metode penelitian ini menggunakan research & development dengan model pengembangan ADDIE, yang diantaranya yaitu: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Instrumen penilaian yang digunakan untuk mengetahui kualitas produk berupa lembaran penilaian media yang digunakan untuk ahli materi, ahli media dan lembar tanggapan siswa dengan menggunakan skala likert.

Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa media yang dikembangkan memenuhi syarat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. Berdasarkan validasi ahli materi diperoleh persentase nilai akhir dengan rata-rata 94,5% ketegori “sangat baik” dan hasil validasi ahli media diperoleh persentase nilai akhir dengan rata-rata 96,5% Kategori “sangat baik”. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba kelompok kecil kepada 10 siswa menyebutkan bahwa persentase akhir yang diperoleh adalah 83% dengan kategori “sangat baik” dan uji coba kelompok besar kepada 30 siswa memperoleh persentase akhir 84% dengan kategori “sangat baik”.

Abstract

The materials on the history of Islamic Culture of Islamic Education Lesson is considered difficult by students because it presents many events, dates, years, and names of historical figures in the past that are difficult to memorize, so they are considered abstract things and can only be imagined by students. The use of instructional media is expected to be able to help students overcome these difficulties. The development of motion graphic based learning media aims to: (1) produce motion graphic media development of Islamic Education Lesson about the growth of sceience in Bani Umayyah period for eight grade at Junior High School Level; (2) describe the feasibility of motion graphic media of Islamic Education Lesson about the growth of sceience in Bani Umayyah period for eight grade at Junior High School Level.

This research method uses research & development with the ADDIE development model, which includes: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The assessment instrument used to determine product quality is in the form of a media assessment sheet used for material experts, media experts and student response sheets using a Likert scale.

The results showed that the media developed the requirements to be used as a learning medium. Based on the materials expert's validation, the final score percentage was obtained with an average of 94,5% in the "very good" category and the results of the validation
n of the media experts obtained the final score percentage with an average of 96,5% in the "very good" category. Based on the results of small group trials to 10 students, it was stated that the final percentage obtained was 83% in the "very good" category and in large group trials with 30 students, the final percentage was 84% in the "very good" category.
