Abstract

Guru memegang peran sangat utama dalam pembagunan pendidikan. Guru sangat berpengaruh terhadap terciptanya proses dan hasil pendidikan yang berkualitas. Dalam mengajar seorang guru harus memiliki standar akademik dan kompetensi salah satunya kompetensi pedagogik, dengan memiliki kompetensi pedagogik guru dapat digunakan untuk memahami peserta didik dan mampu menciptakan lingkungan pembelajaran yang kondusif sehingga hasil belajar siswa berada dalam tingkat optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskriptifkan kompetensi pedagogik guru yang berlatar belakang SLTA di MTs. Raudhatul Jannah Palangka Raya. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, dilakukan di MTs. Raudhatul Jannah Palangka Raya. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah guru yang berlatar belakang SLTA yang ada di MTs. Raudhatul Jannah Palangka Raya. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 2 guru. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, serta dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data melalui tahap data reduction (Reduksi data), Display data (penyajian data), dan conclusion drawing/verification. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 10 kompetensi pedagogik menurut Pemendiknas No. 16 Th 2007, antara lain, menguasai karakteristik peserta didik, menguasai teori dan prinsip-prinsip pembelajaran yang mendidik, mengembangkan kurikulum menyelenggarakan pembelajaran yang mendidik, memanfaatkan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi, memfasilitasi pengembangn potensi peserta didik dengan menyarankan ikut ekstrakurikuler, berkomunikasi dengan peserta didik, menyelenggarkn penilain dan evaluasi untuk kepentingan pembelajaran, melakukan tindakan reflektif untuk peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran, menyatakan bahwa guru berlatar belakang SLTA di MTs. Raudhatul Jannah Palangka Raya pada indikator 2 tidak sesuai dengan yang direncana pelaksanaan pembelajaran, indikator 3 guru masih mengunakan KTSP, indikator 5 tidak dimanfaatkan oleh guru, indikator 9 guru tidak melakukan post tes.

ABSTRACT

Teachers holds very important role in an education development. They are very influential against education quality and otcomes. In teaching, a teacher shold have academic standards and competencies, one of them is pedagogic competence.by having this, it can be used to understand students and be able to create a conducive learning environment. So that learning outcomes are at optimal level. This stdy aims at describing teachers’ pedagogical competence who have high school educational background in Islamic jnior high scholl Radhatul Jannah Palangka Raya. This study applied descriptive qualitative research, conducted at in Islamic junior high school Radhatul Jannah Palangka Raya. The source of the data used was teachers wh have high school educational background in Islamic Junior high school Ra udhatl Jannah Palangka Raya. In this study, the sample were 2 teachers. Techniques of collecting data were carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation. The technique of analyzing data was through data reduction stage (data reduction), data display (datapresentation), and conlusion drawin/verification. The results showed that 10 pedagogical competencies according to National Education Minister No. 16 th of 2007, among others, mastered the characteristics of students, mastered the theories and principles of learning that educate, develop curricula to provide educational learning, utilize information and communication technology, facilitate the development of potential students by suggesting extracurricular activities, communicating with students, organizing assessment and evaluation for the benefit of learning, taking reflective action to improve the quality of learning, stating that teachers are of high school background in MTs. Raudhatul Jannah Palangka Raya on indicator 2 is not in accordance with the planned implementation of learning, indicator 3 teachers still use KTSP, indicator 5 is not utilized by the teacher, indicator 9 teacher does not do post test.
