Abstract
Kepala sekolah dalam rangka manajerial yang berfungsi sebagai supervisor memiliki kewajiban membina para guru agar menjadi pendidik dan pengajar yang baik. Dalam kemampuan supervisi akademik, baik kemampuan teknik, kemampuan hubungan kemanusiaan, maupun kemampuan konseptual yang memadai kepala sekolah harus mampu menggerakan seluruh potensi sekolah termasuk dapat memacu peningkatan kualitas kinerja guru di sekolah yang bersangkutan. Berdasarkan latar belakang tersebut peneliti tertarik meneliti tentang Kompentensi Supervisi Akademik Kepala Sekolah Dalam Peningkatan Kinerja Guru di SMP Islam Terpadu Al Amin dan SMP Islam Terpadu Babussalam Kuala Kapuas dengan tujuan sebagai berikut, (1) Untuk mendeskripsikan perencanaan supervisi akademik kepala SMP Islam Terpadu Al-Amin Kuala Kapuas terhadap peningkatan kinerja guru, (2) Untuk menganalisis pelaksanaan supervisi akademik kepala SMP Islam Terpadu Al-Amin Kuala Kapuas terhadap peningkatan kinerja guru, (2) Untuk menganalisis Tindak Lanjut dalam supervisi akademik kepala SMP Islam Terpadu Al-Amin Kuala Kapuas terhadap peningkatan kinerja guru.
Metode penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif. Penelitian ini di lakukan di SMP Islam Terpadu Al-Amin Kuala Kapuas. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data pada penelitian ini terdapat 3 tahapan yaitu pengurangan data, penampilan data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengabsahan data pada penelitian ini adalah perpanjangan penelitian, triangulasi, transferabilitas, dependabilitas dan konfirmabilitas.
Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu perencanaan supervise akademik Kepala SMP IT Al-Amin dalam meningkatkan Kinerja guru PAI dijalankan dengan mengatur jadwal supervisi dan format supervisi akademik kepada guru-guru bersangkutan, pelaksanaan supervisi delaksanakan dengan kunjungan kelas, observasi kelas yang disupervisi, pertemuan individual dengan guru, melakukan kunjungan antarkelas, melakukan penilaian diri sendiri, melibatkan guru PAI dalam kegiatan madrasah melalui kerja kelompok, demonstrasi pembelajaran di depan peserta didik, kegiatan darmawisata, kegiatan diskusi, lokakarya atau konferensi kelompok kepada guru-guru PAI dalam proses meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran mata pelajaran pendidikan agama Islam. tidak lanjut pelaksanaan supervisi dilakukan dengan melakukan proses pembinaan kepada guru, memberikan umpan balik dalam memberi pertolongan/bantuan bagi para guru dan pemantapan Instrumen Supervisi dan bagimana.
Abstract
Principals in managerial framework who function as supervisors have an obligation to foster teachers to become good educators and teachers. In academic supervision abilities, both technical abilities, human relations skills, and adequate conceptual abilities of the principal must be able to move all school potentials including being able to spur improvement in the quality of teacher performance in the school concerned. Based on this background the researcher was interested in researching the Competencies of Principal Academic Supervision in Improving Teacher Performance at Al Amin Junior High School Kuala Kapuas with the following objectives, (1) To describe the academic supervision plan of the head of Al-Amin Integrated Islamic Junior High School Kuala Kapuas towards improving teacher performance, (2) To analyze the implementation of academic supervision of the head of Al-Amin Kuala Kapuas Integrated Islamic Junior High School towards improving teacher performance, (2) To analyze Follow-Up in the academic supervision of the head of Al-Amin Kuala Kapuas Islamic Junior High School towards increasing teacher performance.
The research method in this study is a qualitative method. This research was conducted at Al-Amin Kuala Kapuas Integrated Islamic Junior High School. Data collection techniques using the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. Date analysis in this study there are 3 stages, namely date reduction, date appearance and conclusion. The technique used in validating the date in this study is the extension of research, triangulation, transferability, dependability and confirmation.
The results of this study are planning the academic supervision of the Head of Al-Amin Junior High School in improving the performance of PAI teachers run by arranging the supervision schedule and academic supervision format for the teachers concerned, carrying out supervision by conducting class visits, supervised classroom observations, individual meetings with teachers , conducting inter-class visits, conducting self-assessments, involving PAI teachers in madrasah activities through group work, demonstrations in front of students, field trips, discussion activities, workshops or group conferences to PAI teachers in the process of improving the quality of education subject learning Islam. Furthermore, the implementation of supervision is carried out by conducting a process of guidance to the teacher, providing feedback in giving help / assistance to the teachers and strengthening the Supervision Instrument and how.
