Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini karena adanya keunikan UM (Universitas Muhammadiyah) Palangkaraya sebagai Universitas Islam namun tidak membatasi dalam memberikan layanan pendidikan bagi semua mahasiswa baik yang muslim maupun non muslim yang berbeda suku, budaya dan pola pikir. Selain itu, terdapat Dosen yang muslim dan non muslim. Apabila keberagaman tersebut tidak dikelola dengan bijak dapat menimbulkan konflik.
Rumusan masalah; 1) Perencanaan berbasis Multikultural, 2) Pengorganisasian berbasis Multikultural, 3) Pelaksanaan berbasis Multikultural, 4) Pengawasan berbasis Multikultural.
Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan 1) Perencanaan berbasis Multikultural, 2) Pengorganisasian berbasis Multikultural, 3) Pelaksanaan berbasis Multikultural, 4) Pengawasan berbasis Multikultural.
Metode pengumpulan data: Observasi, Wawancara, Dokumentasi. Metode penelitian; Data Reduction, Data Display dan Conclusion Drawing dan Verification dan validasi data dengan Triangulasi sumber data.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan : 1) Perencanaan berbasis Multikultural dilakukan dengan mengakomodir aspirasi dari bawah (buttom up) baik dari Fakultas maupun Program Studi 2) Pengorganisasian berwawasan Multikultural melalui koordinasi dan aktivitas yang memadukan fungsi-fungsi di dalam organisasi, mendelegasikan, menyusun tugas-tugas serta adanya struktur organisasi unit-unit kerja kepada berbagai unsur Fakultas dan Program Studi tanpa diskriminasi. 3) Pelaksanaan berbasis Multikultural pada Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar (PGSD) mencakup implementasi penerimaan mahasiswa baru, penyusunan kelas, perekrutan Dosen dan penyusunan tugas Dosen dilakukan sesuai SOP (Standar Operational Prosedur) dan Anjab (Analisis Jabatan), berlandaskan amanat Undang-Undang Sistem Pendidikan Nasional No: 20 Tahun 2003 bab V pasal 12, ayat (1) a: Setiap peserta didik pada setiap satuan pendidikan berhak mendapatkan pendidikan agama sesuai dengan agama yang dianutnya dan diajarkan oleh pendidik yang seagama. Peraturan yang dibuat tidak mendiskriminasi mahasiswa. Mahasiswi non Muslim tidak dituntut memakai Hijab. Perayaan hari besar keagamaan non muslim diperbolehkan di luar kampus dengan dikoordinir oleh Pendeta yang bersangkutan, dan difasilitasi oleh kampus. Tidak ada upaya doktrin pada mahasiswa Muslim dan non Muslim dalam pembelajaran Ke-Muhammadiyahan. 4) Pengawasan dilakukan sesuai Standar Operational Prosedur, melalui berbagai sumber pengawasan, mengawasi segala aktivitas akademik dan non akademik

The background of this study because of the uniqueness of UM (University of Muhammadiyah) Palangkaraya as the Islamic University but not limited to providing educational services to all students of both Muslims and non-Muslims of different ethnic, cultural and mindset. In addition, there are lecturers who are Muslims and non-Muslims. If diversity is not managed wisely can lead to conflict.
Formulation of the problem; 1) Planning Multicultural based, 2) Organizing multicultural-based, 3) Implementation of Multicultural based, 4) Control-based Multicultural.
The purpose of this study is to describe 1) Planning Multicultural based, 2) Organizing multicultural-based, 3) Implementation of Multicultural based, 4) Control-based Multicultural.
Data collection methods: observation, interview, documentation. Research methods; Data Reduction, Data Display and Conclusion Drawing and Verification and validation of the data by triangulation of data sources.
The results showed: 1) Planning based Multicultural carried out by accommodating the aspirations of the bottom (bottom up) both from the Faculty and Program 2) Organizing sound Multicultural through coordination and activities that integrate the functions in the organization, delegating, organizing tasks and the organizational structure of work units to the various elements of the Faculty and Program without discrimination. 3) Implementation based Multicultural Study Program Elementary School Teacher (PGSD) includes the implementation of new admissions, preparation classes, recruitment of lecturers and drafting tasks Lecturer conducted according to SOP (Standard Operational Procedures) and Anjab (Job Analysis), based on the Act National Education System No: 20 of 2003 Section V of Article 12, paragraph (1) a: Each learner in every academic year are entitled to religious education in accordance with their religion and taught by educators who co-religionists. Regulations made not discriminate against students. Coed non-Muslims are not required to wear Hijab. The celebration of non-Muslim religious holidays are allowed off campus with coordinated by Rev. concerned, and facilitated by campus. No attempt doctrine in Muslim and non Muslim students in learning All Muhammadiyahan. 4) Monitoring is done according to Standard Operational Procedures, through various sources of monitoring, overseeing all academic and non academic activities.
